Does your job/company pay for food?

my job has a buffet type place with a bunch of stuff you can also order stuff from a menu.

it always changes, and at night after 1am they swtich to breakfast.

they also have a freezer filled with ice creams, and a fridge filled with deserts and a thing that dispenses 4 types of cereal.

that ish is dangerous, i find myself eating about 5 times a day.

Used to get 'subsidized' lunch from in-house cafe, but it was shut down.

Now we're on our own, except when vendors/contractors are in town to take us out

When traveling I have a $250 per day "food and entertainment" allowance and when I work past 6PM I can spend up to $100 for dinner; I've never come close to either of those limits.

Roughly $300 for food per month over here in the Air Force. I exceed that typically by the 15th...

they buy us pizza every once in a while but that's about it

Man where the hell do y'all work? We're lucky to even have vending machines at my job

My office has catered lunches every Tuesday-Thursday, and catered breakfast every Tuesday, and every other Friday.

Travel allowance for food is $75 per day.

get ya self overseas and make that COLA and Utilities Allowance = :smokin :smokin :smokin

Unfortunately, the good ole Air Force sent me to Turkey for 17 months, threw my *** up in those dorms and took away COLA :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

Wasn't all bad though because, at the time, it was 24/7 and you could eat and take home as much as you wanted.

I'm still trying to get to Germany

We have a tranquility room for people to relax or take naps.

Been in here for about 3 hours already.

Earlier there were 2 ladies in here and a big fart crept outta my butt while I was about to fall asleep.

We have a breakfast cubicle. Each person (about 8 of us) brings in either money or a donation every other week. Then we stock up the cubicle across from my office with breakfast food and the fridge with cold cuts, cheese and fruit. It's cool but it's not free :frown:

State jobs never have any fun.

Current job no, but when i worked at google, breakfast lunch and dinner buffet, good variety of food.

I demolished their red bull supply everyday

Out of curiosity, what makes a person STOP working for Google?

I heard you can't really have too much of a life working at google. Work 24/7

The role i have now is much better on paper when I shoot for a manager position in the future, it is a more direct role with more interaction with the company execs which is what i was looking for.

Working for the Hilton we have a free buffet. I work overnight so I get the breakfast buffet.

My homie works for Mariott and pays a buck for a full meal.

Im sure its a regional thing.
