No kanye album is a top 10 hip hop album of all time and I'm a big Ye fan
Some of you have disregarded decades of art and compare Ye to the **** that's came out since he's been around and put him on this crazy pedestal. He has an amazing ear for sound and that's it. He doesn't write most his **** and has had multiple "co-producers" on a lot of his work since he started rapping.
I've enjoyed literally all his albums but 808s but I'm not going to say he's this groundbreaking, all time musician when there's artists like Prince and the like around.
I'd bring the RZA into this discussion but I already know it'll just be a "flame RZA's flow" session. Check the credentials though.

Nah, reiterating something that's a given is nothing new under the sun and imo, its beating a dead horse.

I still stand by what i said and never did I personally state that Kanye was groundbreaking or the hottest thing since sliced bread or anything outrageous of the sort. Kanye is a relevant artist that has been so for the past decade.
So for me to say that an argument could be made for one of his albums to enter the top 10, it isn't far fetched.
for example;
Just off of the fact that CD was so embled in hip hop history during its release and how it has withstood the test of time is good evidence that the album is a great contender for top 10. Definitely not top 5,
but I would personally put it in my top 10 depending on how I'm feeling that day.
Today I feel CD was good when it came out, it made an impact, kanye himself had an impact on the media and mainstream music, the album is still good today, still relevant, still a classic.
Therefore, CD is a top 10 album, imo.
This is subjective at the end of the day, so I couldn't care less if people don't see it as top 10. They have their own taste and i have mine, but I will respect weather or not they deem it as top 10 material or not.

Kanye is one of my favorite musicians, but he shouldn't be seriously discussed in any convo about top ten rappers. Dude is more Brian Wilson than a Jay-Z. That being said, MBDTF is GOAT wheeew
