Silly question, but I've gotten so deep into this NT ******** over my timeframe here, that despite it being an internet community, I'm still very much intrigued by posters here. Part of me wonders if it would at all be possible to get most the regulars together and how that would be. It probably would ruin the mystique of it all, but this place is and has been. :pimp:

CP(Very astute at arguing. Would love to shoot the ****)
KLJ(Never loved the guy, but that's what makes this interesting)
DSA (Peacemaker between all the arguing and seems like a stand up dude)


The list is simply for variety and not to degrade other posters who I enjoy hearing from....I want a good mix of what I'm assuming to be real life personalities.

I suddenly feel like 5 isn't enough...That roundtable is fun, but I'm down with lots of ya'll. I can expand this to 10, but I think choosing 5 makes it interesting. :lol:

This thread could backfire, but we'll see wassup....

Just an interesting thought I had. We all joke about the serious business that NT is, but I'm pretty sure of the fact that we all have our outside life and those that are in here or have been mentioned have been here for a long time and hold a lot of value to the outlet we have on NT. I don't care who you are, that's a form of a relationship/community. I don't need NT to live, but I choose to come here all the time and sometimes I hate that, but ultimately, I love it. And the dudes that we see post daily or whatever the case, it just makes me wonder....Bar, drinks, talking ****, or a bro-fest (whatever that means)...This thread is just another form of expression, really...

I love this place. I can't just go to even my best friends and argue sports because feelings get hurt, nor can I just talk to some random dude about sports and have a good discussion because others will hold back what they really think, it seems. Just no shame right now about this, because I've honed arguing skills, learned more about sports that I wouldn't have otherwise and probably more...It is what it is. *shrugs*

I agree with 651.

I live in a spot that has moronic "sports fans" that think Ducks-Beavers is equal to Oklahoma-Texas, or Ohio St.-Michigan.

So few actual fans of sports as a whole.

Come on NT, and instantly I can find New Yorkers talkin about the Knicks. Texas folk about the Rangers. Draft whispers from guys in LA.

And you see the same "faces" (SN's) everyday. You get past convos, old arguments/threads, its like bein at a barbershop all day watchin games.

I get the idea of the thread and applaud it.

Wish it was more than 5, so many other S&Ters that deserve credit for their contributions.
 
this place is my second home for real. love being here talkin **** all day. i'll put it like this :

watch a knick game with - the entire fam from that thread, theres wayyyy too many of us but thats easily one of my favorite spots to stop by ...

watch a yanks vs sox game with deadsetace - my dude dude can take a joke and hand em out as well

watch a jets vs pats game - my fellow sufferers ( bkmac, rillo561, pauliepeppas, ballerific703, kingfoamnyc and of course that girl DSA )
