Hey experts...need help with a legit check on these womens air max 1s please!
couple things...I'm thinking they're both legit, but just different matches. maybe one's legit, one's fake...or maybe they're BOTH fake.
either way, DEFINITELY the right has several differences than the left.
For starters, the font and lettering of NIKE AIR logo on insoles.
Different.
Also, the "AIR" part on the bottom soles underneath, the font is thicker than the other.
Then there's the missing groove on the bottom right sole.
The embroidered logo on back heel is slightly different...thinner font on left shoe, not to mention it looks a little slanted.
Also, the all-grey suede portion right above the midsole - the left has a much thinner cut going all around than the right.
And lastly, the dates are off on the inside tag. One says 7/09/12 while the other says 7/10/12. I know those are the production dates, which seem to match up to when these released in Oct 2012, but just wondering why they don't match up to each other.
None of my other Nike or Jordan sneakers are like that.
Anyway, I get that no two sneakers from a matching pair will be EXACTLY identical...there's always gotta be room for some margin of error. And maybe I'm being a little picky and particular about every little detail, but I've never had that many discrepancies on a pair of kicks before. It was just one too many to ignore...
Plus, I own a few other air max 1s and NONE of them have a missing groove on the bottom sole, like the right sneaker below.
So, boys...what are we calling them? Legit or not?
I'm OK with manufacturer errors...just need some peace of mind, you know?
(And maybe see if the seller will do a partial refund...)
