The Jordans are great for balling. The KDs are a lifestyle shoe, like the umpteenth black/gum shoe released (though they look great on this silhouette).

Thanks. I know they have different intended uses but to be honest, I was planning to wear the XX9's more casually anyways rather than to ball in. It was more a question between two all black (or mostly black) shoes with similar price points.

maybe these will hit the disco. It seems like fewer and fewer shoes are selling out with the quickness now. Maybe it's a sign the market is head back to the days when you could actually cop stuff you wanted. Someone told me that they bought their lebron 4 birthdays off NDC for like $80 on clearance.

It's not just this year's KDs. The LeBron XII and quite a few of the Kobe 9 colorways have sat also.
Maybe the shoe "game" is beginning to reset itself...

Combination of the prices and them coming out with a new colorway every two weeks.
They're making less limited sneakers than they used to with the signature lines.

I can only hope this is true. Than perhaps nike will rethink these crazy prices. I myself am definitely being way more selective than in the past.

I think it's because of the colorways. Other than the Global Games and the Gold Medals everything else has been subpar imo. But I agree with you, this model is fire both in performance and aesthetics.. hopefully they finish with some strong CW's.

I think the model is good and there have been some good CWs but the market is just flooded with product. Also KD not wearing the 7s hurts them just like lebrons situation with the 11s
