I can't believe how fast KD gave up on those AP's. Was hoping he'd finally gotten comfortable with the 7's but that's definitely not the case.

I think this injury deal and the KD 7 is just hogwash.  I am not claiming to be a world class athlete but I do know for a fact KD wears a smaller shoe when he is playing as opposed to when he wears them casually.  A lot of people who have worn these complain about how they pinch the hell out of the top of your feet.  When I wear a size 11 they kill the top of my feet.  When I wear a size 11 1/2 they don't.  The problem is when I wear the 11 1/2, I lose the heal lock down.  I am not saying this is what KD is going through but I also don't think it has anything to do with the injury. 

As far as the color ways go, IMO the KD 7 will always lack compared to the KD 6.  The reason for this is you can only do so much with the mesh.  The KD 6 had endless possibilities because of the type of material used.  I think the WTKD 7 will be a similar concept the the Kobe's.  Now saying that, I still like what they have done with the 7s.  No complaints from me.

KD has explained the issue. The 7 doesn't support the orthotics he wears. He came back from an injury and the 6 better support the orthotics.

LeBron went through the same thing with the Lebron XI (which honestly was a disaster performance and fit wise from the X...not look wise).
