Haven't worn them to be honest, last time I put them on I wore the thickest socks and tried to just open them up to no avail.

^^^wear them for a few hours if you can stand it, as soon as you pull them off, roll & stuff the tissue paper into a tight ball near where they're tight on your foot and leave'em like that every time. They'll loosen after maybe 2/3 wears. PITA I know.
I got the GS pair in the APs and they look fine compared to the mens, BUT the mens version is definitely more comfortable to me
