Yet bron sales dwarf kd and he's not getting 30. If a shoe is hot, its hot period, you said it yourself. Kd didn't make the shoe hot the designers did. So if the kd 7 was the Kyrie 1 you wouldn't think it's hot anymore? The superflys and cp3s don't sell as well as they should because they're ugly not because cp3 is any less of a player or spokesman than kd. There's plenty of people who hate bron or kobe yet buy every one of their shoes.
This happens every time someone leaves the swoosh. Nike didn't need dwade, doesn't need rondo, doesn't care about kanye. They replace and do it successfully. I wish it wasn't the case, i wish they had a legit competitor because then they would maybe pump out shoes like Li ning. But they are one of the best marketing companies ever. They crap gold with or without kd. There is 1 person they know they can't replace and since that was the case they gave mj his own brand.

The worst problem I've faced with the KD7s are dents in the toebox. I had to exchange my 35k pair because there was a huge fold/dent in the fuse underneath the mesh. It happened to be right above my big toe on my right foot, and rubbed the top of my toe with every step. No bueno.
My GGs had similar dents in both shoes except they were over my smaller toes where I don't feel them. USAs and second pair of 35k were perfect.

Nike only made $175 million off of KD in 2013. Because Nike still has to pay for marketing of his shoes while paying KD however much his contract is worth + a cut of however many shoes he sells.

I am sorry, I just dont think you can slap a Kyrie 1 on the KD 7 and it would sell nearly as well.. people buy KD's just as much for the design as they do because they are KDs
and Kayne shoes were all HYPE and he is a diva.. i think they let him go for personal reasons, more then for Monetary.. the guy continually critizied Mark Parker the entire time during his tour.. you dont do that to the boss..

I would be disappointed if Nike didnt even try to match that offer.. but I heard UA is offering him a percentage of the company.. that might be too much for KD to turn down.
