Just to get some context, are these noticeably "slimmer" than the LeBron XI low? I recently bought some XI's online and I felt they looked very clunky on my feet, I prefer a more "fitted" shoe, more slim, not necessarily a pointed toe box but not such a wide load. I'm going to return the XI's at some point but I want to buy another pair of low cut shoes...

I absolutely love the design of this shoe (strap at the forefoot brings me back the Air Jet Flights

) the colorways thus far are a bit underwhelming but I might grab either the Apples or the Uprisings. Any ideas on how the "Empire State" coloway will look? I Googled a bit but didn't see anything. I know there's a ton of c/w's out and ID's but damn, nothing really knocked my socks off yet for such a beautiful design.

I would check these out at a retail store to see just how slim they are but my schedule's always so damn busy and sometimes I really don't feel like dealing with the crowds lol...

Yes, these are definitely slimmer than the Lebron XI lows. But they're not as constricting as some of KDs past models. If you have a narrow or average-width foot, I think you'll find these extremely comfortable. And the strap allows for some adjustment at the midfoot.

Thank you for the response tigo, I appreciate it. I will try to carve out time to drive somewhere and see it in person. I definitely prefer a narrow type shoe and wouldn't mind if it's constricting either.

I realize KD is a huge man but who knows maybe he got narrow feet to go with those skinny *** legs lol. I should have realized Bron's would have been too wide for my tastes.

No problem. I have long, average width feet (size 14) with BIG big toes. These 7s are great because they have a snug fit throughout the shoe but the toebox isn't cramped. Foot feels secure, you can really feel the zoom in the heel and forefoot, and your piggies still have room to wiggle. I didn't buy the tech talk at first about the plate on the bottom mimicking bones in your foot, but I do know that it feels great. Heel to toe transition is so smooth.

Frankly my only gripe with the shoe is that I've had trouble (most likely to do with my larger shoe size) with bad glue jobs causing dents/folds in the fuse by my toes. I had to send them back for replacements on 3/7 CWs released thus far. That and the laces feel too cheap.

And KD definitely has narrow feet. The "Slim Reaper" in every sense haha. Just try on a pair of IVs

Bought the Volt Hypercross for work. Got them in the mail yesterday. Wasn't really liking how they felt. Took them back and got the KD 7 Uprising. My first pair of KDs since the 4. Wow what a difference 3 years makes. Only wore them for a few hours, but damn they are one of my favorite shoes ever. The fit is absolutely perfect for my foot. Pulled the Volt laces off my Tiempo's and put them on the KDs. I like them better then the factory laces. Plus the factory laces are long as hell. These are a bit shorter which looks better to me. What do you guys think? View media item 1223845

I liked the stock laces because of the hits of blue...but I agree, the factory laces are underwhelming and way too long.

Volt looks good!

Wow, that pic with the volt laces might have just pushed me over the edge to buy these. I thought the stock with the hits of blue was cool, too, but these volts take the shoe to another level IMO. Any more pics?

I got a few. What do you want to see? Yeah bro they are WAY harder with the Volt laces. The factory laces don't even compare IMO

These shoes would be nice sans the heavy heel posite, and even more gimmicky strap.  When have straps ever had ANY true purpose?  It's a hoax.  Just like the Reebok pump.  They needed to be dropped from shoes for good.  Never understood the design fascination with it either.  Whenever I had a shoe with them, they provided no extra support.  In fact, they made shoes more uncomfortable, and loose feeling.  I end up cutting them off.  No applicable reason for their application.

I'm not really a fan of straps on shoes at all. I like the way these and the KD IVs look and that's about it. I would have to disagree and say the strap on these would definitely help lock down your foot while playing basketball. I am only going to wear mine casually so I have the strap loose. You can tighten the strap down and definitely feel that your foot is locked in better.

Yeah, KD has been known to have narrow feet, which is why his shoes fit narrow for most people. The KD IV was notorious for this.

Not feeling those N7s at 1st glance

But I'm sure once official pics surface I'll have a different tune to sing

Maybe

I think I like those volt laces better than the factory laces as well on the Uprisings. Would appreciate more photos with the volt laces too
