Ehh. Why not?
So on box paper of all the Jordan lab elemental series (ie 3lab5 and 5lab3), there are numerois "elements" pertaining to various Jordan models and their history. So what do they all actually mean? What can we see popping up in the future? I will be perfectly honest... the concepts possible are WAY BETTER than any previous fusion / hybrid / bastardizing of the brand. Here is the list so far:
AJ 2 - 1987 " IT " Must be Italian. I would personally love to see rich leather italian models. Wait, wasnt that the BIN series?
AJ 2 - 1987 " L " My guess is Lizard for the lizard print emboss on the original AJ 2. Potential! Hmmm lizard print XI? 11Lab2 sign me up
AJ 3 - 1988 " EL " Elephant Print. It looked good on the 5s...wouldn't mind it on the 4s... but restraint needs be applied to most models
AJ 4 - 1989 " S " Truly unsure what this could be? Support?
AJ 4 - 1989 " T " My guess would be the Triangle support feature, and we've already seen that on another shoe, and I'm not a fan (here's looking at you Spizike)
AJ 5 - 1990 " RE " Reflective - could we see other JB models with reflective uppers? Please show restraint JB!
AJ11- 1996 " CF " Must be Carbon Fiber. Seeing that its initial usage was in the midsole for support, could it be applied to older models pre AJ 11 for added rigidity? AJ 1? AJ 7? Carbon Fiber upper support panels on some models could be sick. Think A 13 or 16
AJ11- 1996 " PL " Must be Patent Leather, which has been used and abused on every shoe from A to Z. Potential failures galore
AJ13 -1998 "SM" Clueless. Suede Midsole?
AJ15 - 2000 "W" Woven. They could have just called the Jordan Future the 15Lab11.... right?
AJ20 -2005 "LS" My guess is Leash - for the ankle leash strap on the ankle. My guess is as good as yours.
Feel free to Photoshop, hypothesize, share ideas... and lets figure this $poop out!
