Los Angeles. Things To Do

If you want to visit DTLA, there is

-Staples Center
-L.A. Live
-Disney Concert Hall
-Chinatown
-Little Tokyo
-Grand Park
-MOCA
-The Original Pantry
-Grand Central Market (Eggslut is the most popular vendor there)
-Fashion District
-Jewelry District
-Nightclubs (My favorite is Exchange LA)
-Bars and gastropubs (Black Sheep, The Library Bar)

Note:
-Don't go to Skid Row

Got back from LA yesterday. Loved the city. Stayed at Custom Hotel close to LAX, a nice chic hotel.

Hollywood has a lot homeless which I thought was very interesting

Venice Beach and Hollywood had more homeless than I expected. The open air drug trade in Venice is crazy. One dude was smoking crack like its nothing there.

In N Out did not live up to the hype. Was highly disappointed. Damn place was packed all hours of the day.

Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles was :pimp: I tasted some sort of cinnamon in the waffles

Getty Museum was cool, so was Griffith Observatory. Good part is it's free.

Didn't get a chance to see Universal Studios. We just ate at one the restaurants there.

Walked thru Rodeo Drive bumped into Ray J there  Bought a Dodgers shirt from Niketown

Stopped in Las Vegas too. Took us 4.5 hours to go there :x

Vegas is cool too. Won the most money in Bellagio

Overall, LA seems like a great place. :pimp: :pimp:

you thought in n out was disappointing but yet you like roscoes? lol i dont know if its the spot i went to but roscoes was way too salty and the waffle didn't even taste homemade

Gonna be in Fontana, CA July 4th - 12th. The plan is to land in LAX at 12.30AM and pick up my Camaro rental (da hemi was sold out) and drive down to Fontana. Does anyone know of any car meets going on Sunday July 5th or any day during the week? Also I'm considering going to Tijuana for a day or 2, is that a bad idea? Anyone have recommendations for  where to get good sea food and Mexican food in the area? Also looking to hit up some food trucks and the fashion district but need some ideas as to where. These are a few of the places I plan to hit up, I'm open to any comments or suggestions on any where else. Thanks.

-Ripley's Museum

-La Brea Tar Pits

-Universal Studios

-Disneyland

-Griffith Observatory

-Trejo's Tacos

-Randy's Donuts

-In n Out

-Slauson Swap Meet

Hey guys, I'm headed to LA in a few weeks with my boys from College and was just wondering if ya'll had any suggestions for night spots?

I've been to LA several times, and am always looking to new night spots that are low key and play dope music.

Last time I was in LA I went to this club and it had three rooms 1 carribean music, 1 rock, and 1 hip hop. Eclectic laid back vibe and I was feeling it heavy, even had a dude giving haircuts in the corner to 'hidden darts' haha. I've done the big clubs before and they just aint my scene....any help is appreciated.

Man for the scenery, I would drive to Malibu and walk around the campus of Pepperdine. Seriously........

If you plan on coming to La pls avoid Venice it's trash if you want to see bums doing drugs stay in dtla at least you'll have better bars and restaurants.

going on vacation to LA for a week soon. any suggestions on what to do? food, entertainment, tourist attractions, etc?

One thing about LA is you need way more than a week. Please don't just visit Hollywood then go back and tell people that's how LA is because it's not.

There are so many places to go for all those topics.

About to be in LA this weekend Friday - Monday with my girl. Staying in West Hollywood, which is somewhat centrally located for the stuff we want to get in to.

Any recommendations for a good brunch/drinks scene on Sundays?

Edit - Also, any good bars with good music that you can

 at openly?

West Hollywood is such a great jumpong off point...

Santa Monica- 2nd & wilshire
THE BUNGALOWS - basically a hookup location for the 30 & under crowd. BUY A BOTTLE & A TABLE

HOLLYWOOD- La Cienega & Sunset - HYDE CLUB

3rd & La Cienega- Toca Madera DRINKS & SOCIAL BAR

12th & Chestnut Santa Monica - THE CHESTNUT BAR. FOR PRETENTIOUS TYPES..
GOOD MIXED DRINKS

IF YOU GAME EN POINTE with the dinner- 9200 SUNSET - BOA

IF ALL ELSE FAILS GO TO K-TOWN ... THERE YOU WILL FIND A NEW RESPECT FOR BENBALLER LOL

BEACH CITIES:
ACTUALLY GOING IN THE WATER??? MANHATTAN BEACH

HERMOSA BEACH (PIER AVE): BAR BAR BAR BAR BAR... GETTING AWAY FROM THE $15 HOLLYWOOD COCKTAILS IS A PLUS, BUT THE LOCAL WHITES WILL GET BELIGERENT

LONG BEACH- FEDERAL BAR ON PINE & 1ST... LBC IS KIND OF A TOURIST TRAP

Coke is pretty hyped out here... I'd stay away from that scene... dont do meth or heroine because youll end up in San Pedro or the Valley.

Only do LSD in Joshua Tree

Salazars in scenesterlake is Prime eats for Messican cuisine

Man, THIS!

LA is so spread out and combined with traffic, its hard to get around and really check out multiple spots. Unless you want your schedule very condensed and not even be able to enjoy it in the first place.

I would focus on one or two areas, max!

Lol so anyone got any good Sunday Funday spots, and bars where you can

 in public without giving damns?
