To My Cubicle and Office Warriors (well anyone in general)...How much do you sit?

this is one of the many reasons why im changing careers.

Sitting and staring at a screen for 8+ hours a day is killing me.....slowly and softly.

My spine feels curved, my eyes are declining. This isnt natural.

Good post OP.
Same here, been working at my current job for 5 years. Hate sitting all day long, I've gain a lot of weight since working there

it's crazy that I'm sitting at a desk for a job given I studied phys ed in college. lolol

ALLLLLL this

Back pain....eye strain....is real. I am 26 and i feel like a 75 year old at times. And i go to the gym 4 times a week and am active almost every day. I don't know why this isn't more of a concern or problem in corporate america. Like give everyone an option for a stand up desk. Or a tredmil desk...or ab-ball chairs....something.

wow thats terrible

Right now I'm 6'4 236 lbs. when I first started I was at 220. It's tough when your job is located around a bunch of restaurants

maybe on friday work days hit the local restaurant but why would you not pack your own food?

saves money too obviously

i know personally its way too easy..."hey want to grab lunch" oh it will get me out of my office for an hour...YES!!. When i bring my lunch i eat at my desk.

Does anyone use a Balance Ball/Exercise Ball instead of a chair at work? I was thinking of doing that, but I read online it isn't really much better than a chair.
