Nike Shoe Box Top Lids Cut OFF but shoe and box are in otherwise perfect condition.....Does the miss

Id like to ask the overall opinion on this topic.

If a sneaker is in otherwise perfect condition and there is nothing wrong with the shoe but the shoe BOX TOP LID IS CUT OFF, DOES THAT DECREASE THE OVERALL VALUE OF THE SHOE?

If the box is in otherwise perfect condition with original tags and labels, does the top lid being cut off make a substantial difference in the price you would pay for any sneakers?

Does it ever begin to matter and affect the price of the shoe if the shoe box top lid is cut off and sneakers are in otherwise perfect condition?

Does it matter if they are high value Air Max/Jordans/Lebrons/Kobes/etc shoes in otherwise perfect condition?

Would you pay less for a shoe in otherwise perfect condition with the box top lid cut off? 

Would you consider the shoe to be ''without a box'' if only the shoe box top lid is cut off?

I dont think a missing SHOE BOX TOP lid effects the value of the shoe but i would like to know your thoughts on the topic

Depends on the shoe, but generally speaking shoes like that are an outlet pick up to begin with and possibly b grades. Also if it is something "valuable" and I'm paying for it I'd want the box intact. So for me, yes it would lower the value, if it's just a shoe I'm going to wear to work or something and beat it up anyways it's not an issue, but I wouldn't spend any real money on something like that anyways.

Really depends on the shoe and if you plan to resell them. But to me personally, I could care less. You cant wear a box
