**Official Lil Wayne Thread ** **No Ceilings 2 drops Thanksgiving**

ehhh that was when the random non sense bars started and the transformation into Tunechi came

Drought 3 had a few tracks but thats it

The Suffix > Drought 3

Suffix is nice but let's not get carried away
suffix had some heat
damage is done
get em off me
the song suffix
give head
we da kings
anything all are :pimp:
drought 3 could be condensed into one great mixtape
but all that clutter lowers its standing imo

THIS

he used to stay on subject ie Man I Miss My Dawgs

this WAS his prime musically

his prime popularity wise was Tha Carter 3 era but true Wayne fans cant even mess with that album or era

SQAD up/Carter 1 & 2 era was his musical prime when he was on songs with Lloyd and Birdmans Neck Of Da Woods and Get Ya Shine On

He wasnt rapping like he does now. He changed on Tha Carter 3 and Da Drought 3 where he just started saying random stuff before he was on subject.

yup...too bad that ***** gone forever :frown:

U know I NEVER wanted to believe it
But now I think it might be true
Wayne didn't write tha carter or C2 :frown: :smh:
I mean look at the fall off
I was listening to tha carter all week
**** is still :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
I just let that **** play didn't touch skip once
Ran back a few songs 2 or 3 times 1 verse in (earthquake, go dj, cash money millionaires)
And C2 I swear money on my mind second verse gotta be the hardest **** wayne spit top 5 at LEAST
Can't even remember the last time I bumped c3 :smh:
I tried to front back then
But besides 4 songs that **** booty juice
Last wayne album that BANGED was prolly like father like son
That **** is damn near a classic
Army gunz is my ****
even birdman got off on a few.
"out the pound" is birdman greatest achievement musically

It's a shame what happened to dude
:smh:

Wayne was never THAT great fellas. He was always a metaphoric rapper. He never had any storytelling or concepts in his music other than a few tracks. A lot of his music was just random ****, that's why I kinda believe he doesn't write. Once he stopped sounding hungry and his lines got weaker he's been trash.

Incredibly false. From The Block Is Hot to The Carter what you're saying is just simply not true.

Actually, that was the only part that was false

So from 99 to 04 he had songs with concepts?

On the block is hot he was rapping about the same **** everybody on CM was rapping about and other than Turk he was the weakest out the crew. On all of his albums and mixtapes a large percent of his music is random off the head sounding stuff. You can probably find a few songs here and there but his music never had that much content.

Then he dropped how to love to prove that hes capable of doing that & that came from a "trash wayne"

U know what, I actually meant a coinflip between Nicki and Drake
