Solid Wayne project for me. If you expect Wayne to rap with substance at this point then you really thinking high of Wayne because that's not what he's been doing for a while. It bumps for me, I can dig it.

After listening to this I can understand why Baby wasn't trying to release C5. After listening to M's, Hot Boy and Glory over the last three weeks, I thought Wayne would come with a better effort than this. I had to play 56 Nights from cover to cover to get this trash can juice out of my system.

Also idk if I wanna listen to this. Wayne did his thing on Smuckers but his verse on M$ was overrated & unnecessary really. Last project I listened to from dude was Dedication 5 which hit the recycle bin quick lol

When u claim the best rapper alive title that's what happens. Your fans start believing that and wala u got overrating of projects. It's funny because people that defend him are the opposites. They set the bar low and hype up basic *** bars and put smoking emojis next to em. Dudes will step in a jay z thread call him washed then say o Wayne killed this bea, I listen to said song and see what the criteria for killed is nowadays smh.

The problem with Wayne now is it's flow and nothing else. Dude has been repeating the same lines over and over and over. Dude has no creativity at all now. Dudes lines are simple and corny. Jay's last 2 albums have no replay value but at least his verse's will make you think a lil bit.

Wayne fell off right before the Carter 3 dropped. That was an average *** commercial album that doesn't age well. It does have some good nostalgic party songs though. I get the appeal.
Drought 3 was his last great tape. That preceded C3, so you can see the clear evolution. No Ceilings was good, but not on the level of his previous tapes from the Prefix to Drought 3. Those who think Wayne has been anything close to good post 2008 most likely started really listening to him around then. SQ to Drought 3 Wayne...is a different animal and a different artist. A legend just for the quality of albums, tapes and features that were put out from 04-07.
Wayne maxed his talent and work ethic out by '08. Drake, Nicki and Khaled posse cuts prolonged his career til 2012. After that, it became clear to the masses that this is a washed rapper living off his name who simply does not try.
His magnum opus is Carter 1. That album is one of the best in hip hop history. Seriously. The Dedication is his best mixtape.

I listened to it this morning, its good for what it is. My expectations were very low and he exceeded them so thats cool. Expecting better than this from him in 2015 is crazy.

Future never claimed to be the best rapper alive also... And the music is 10x better son. 56 nights the song is literally better than anyway Lil Wayne solo track post 08. Son has been bad for 8 years but always gets this pass of o its decent, couple good tracks like stop lying to yaselves. U miss the old Wayne so much u lie to yourself into thinking his new **** good. His only relevant due to his artist at this point.
