When I first posted in this thread, I thought I was having a slow month. NOPE!
KD VI Illusion. I wanted these when they dropped. Super glad I waited out the hype......and thank god for restocks. Got these for retail plus shipping and PP fees.

I was planning to wear the Cool Grey Jordan X's I picked up from the latest nike.com restock this evening....so I finally gave both shoes a really good look over. Wish I had done so when I first got 'em, because the left shoe has a massive 3.5" razor cut going right across the top of the toe box. How does this get through quality control? I mean, I know Jordan Retros are garbage, but D*MN! I legit, seriously wanna know how a massive CUT, on the single most noticeable panel on a shoe (on a $170 Air Jordan retro, mind you) gets out the door. I'll tell ya how. It gets out because they think the dumba*s sneaker heads will keep the precious Jordan anyway. Not this one. They can have it. ...and they can have every Jordan retro that will release from here on out, too.
Packed 'em up....and they're going back to Nike. ...and when the Carmines (I and VI) and the Iron Purple II get here, they're going back, too....unseen. I'm no longer supporting this trash. They've got the last dime they'll ever see outta me...
The worst thing about it? These Cool Grey X's were the first Jordan retro I had been able to cop from nike.com since the black/cement IV on Black Friday 2012. ...and, coincidentally, those were garbage, too.

The day ain't a total loss....because I have these in hand now.
Traded a gang of pairs for these...but nothing I can't live without. Might miss the Pushead II's...but the other pairs weren't special. Just daily wear stuff. The pair of SOMPs I had to boot wax due to a grease stain, a couple pairs of Trainerendors and Toro P-Rod III's. The trade favored him monetarily, but that's how it's supposed to be when you propose a trade. I'm happy....mostly because I have new shoes coming/going so often that none of them actually matter in the end.

I've been knowing. Just didn't realize the full extent of it, I suppose. Over the last couple of years I had been buying more & more Sauconys, Asics, Pumas and stuff like that...but I hadn't really addressed why it was happening.I can't believe it took you this long to realize they're trash

Remove the SOMP from the equation and it ain't so bad.....and that shoe has no monetary value due to the grease stain/Dr Martens boot wax incident. lol
The pair still looks okay, but that's pretty Euphoria Nubuck is shot...
