Gotham (TV Series)...Series concluded...

Did you actually watch Gotham?

  • I did initially, but then I stopped.

  • Nope.

  • I watched every single episode.

I put up with 2-3 seasons of Smallville, so this is an easy go. On a side note, it's scary how Camren Bicondova looks like a young Michelle Pfeiffer.

I wish that they incorporate the police blimps in the series. I think this will get cancelled though. Hope I'm wrong.

Gotham series premiere was tonight. I almost forgot until I saw a commercial for this today. Watching it now.

Garbage.

No more TV reinterpretations of DC superheroes please

Just finished watching the pilot. It was AIGHT.
Rawls from the Wire is Carmine Falcone.

Pilot was okay.

I liked the character work they were aiming for. I like Ben, fan of the dude playing Bullock, I liked this take on Falcone, and how the whole damn city is corrupt.

Didn't care for the jamming of all of Batman's villains in to it cameo style. Pretty lame. They made the Penguin super pathetic.

Didn't like Jada in this, maybe it was the look. Just seemed silly and non-intimidating.

 @ Montoya smashing Gordon's girl in the past.

I will say going off some posts in here I liked this more than I liked Arrow. Haven't seen the Flash yet but can't say I'm hopeful given how much CW has let me down so much to the point I don't check for the network much if at all.
Garbage.

No more TV reinterpretations of DC superheroes please :smh:
 Get ready for Supergirl on CBS.

Pilot was meh. I liked what they're doing with the Penguin and that's pretty much it so far.

There are some interesting story elements here, but IMO, still not enough to warrant a series. With no Batman, this show really rests on Ben McKenzie's performance as Gordon, and he was average at best in the pilot. I was surprised at how good the production looked though.

In short, I know this show is going to take some major liberties with the Batman mythos, especially because it covers a time span that's never really been explored in the comics, but all I can say is, tread carefully.

Replay probably this Friday unless you got satellite and the FOX channel in 3 different time zones.

I will say I didn't like the young Selina AT ALL in this. Especially viewing the death of the Wayne's and not doing anything and then showing up at Wayne Manor entrance on some weird stalker steez. Just not interested cuz it's not appealing.

If they take huge liberties it'd be cool if they killed some of the rogue's gallery early. It is it's own Bat universe with Batman never actually appearing so they could do that.

Seriously, one of the things that bugged me is Gordon not shooting anyone. Note to the writers, he's not Batman, he's a cop. It's okay for him to use a gun.

And yeah, I think I mentioned it earlier in this thread, but Camren Bicondova is a dead ringer for a young Michelle Pfeiffer. Really concerned with how they're going to use her in the show, but they at least they nailed the look down.

You wanted her to risk herself getting shot as well?
