I'm losing interest. There is WAY too much going on and too many moving parts. I wish a network like HBO picked this up and had a slow build. Would be epic.

To me, this is starting off better than say, Agents of SHIELD did. Things seemed to tighten up a bit in episode 2, hoping for a solid season...
 Don't make AoS the bar or standard.

It was so hyped cuz it was in universe with the rest of the movies. That's why it was such a let down throughout the season. A lot of nothing happening or trying to maneuver within the MCU without making big wave until he right moments. They really could've built up to mysteries like what brought Coulson back to life, Sky's parents, and building off the end of SHIELD, Hydra's rise and Coulson being the new director of new SHIELD.

Gotham has much more freedom.

Completely tired of the Bruce Wayne scenes. By season 2 I want a real shocker like a young Joker kills him

Rest of the ep was good. Liked the idea of a Punisher type showing up in Gotham pre-Batman but the balloon stick is to gimmicky super villain style.

Dude playing Bullock is shining though.

Not completely seeing where this is going with Penguin. Witht here previews it would be funny if Gordon secretly got info from Penguin and teamed up. Still tired of them tying in Bruce in to this.

For me, AoS was a disappointment in that it didn't live up to its hype. It probably still doesn't, but I've been happy with the show lately.

I liked the Ward heel turn, Coulson becoming a little crazy, and I liked the whole Fitz becoming a shell of his former self angle and Simmons ditching Shield.

I think the show really picked up once Captain America took Shield down. But it might be a little bit too little too late. The ratings show no signs of picking up.

I still haven't watched a single episode of Gotham yet. I don't know why I'm in this thread

Tonight's episode was good, balloon man was a little cheesy but I'm enjoying this show thus far. Things should be picking up in the next couple of episodes.

Barbara is...the wife? She bad.

I like it so far. I might as well keep watching it now that im 3 episodes in.

I like the graphic way its being shot. Very gully, like how NY really was back in the day.

"Let’s get one thing straight: one weather balloon, especially one that is the size of the ones used by Davis “The Balloonman” Lamond (Dan Bakkedahl), cannot carry any human being larger than a very, very small baby. If this episode was about a deranged social worker attaching babies to weather balloons, it would be pretty ******* scary, but using weather balloons as a vigilante’s weapon to kill bad guys is just silly. If I was a child, I would totally buy into the whole schtick, but I’m an adult that passed high-school physics, so the gimmick falls completely flat. And as a Batman fan, I’m shaking my head as I see a version of the mythos where this crap is part of the inspiration for one of the greatest superheroes ever created."

Not really funny, but I laughed when I read it.

Yeah me too I almost don't want to ask where it's being filmed cuz it feels so much like NYC (what Gotham would be like). Don't want to find out it's Montreal or something

Yeah whole thing is funny

I thought the same when I saw the texture of the balloons. Seemed like some 1930s balloons made with some toxic element  I was like aint no way nobody dying that way but then I thought about it and like this was the closest they can get to a real serial killing vigilante.

Hard for me to really get interested in it when it keeps telling me Batman is coming  eventually and how the main character is the most boring person on the show. It's not terrible or anything, I just wish they went a different route. We know Gotham is awful. They should've how it came to be that way.

They have to make sense of all these Bruce scene before I give up. It makes no sense for grown *** man, a detective to keep reporting back to a child about his cases while at the same time he won't tell his own fiance what's going on  :smh:

And speaking of Barbra, why she so nosy? Like son is out here working cases, most dealing with life and death and you complaining about secrets. Yeah, Penguin ****** up his situation but still she should just chill.

I like how Penguins shows up at his house the first time but wasn't smart enough to just call him at his work like he did later on  :smh:

I also like how Gotham is so corrupt there's a new string of serial killings/hitman targets every week.

Them Jada scenes are growing on me if I get to see more of that. Shorty was fine.

I don't like the guy playing Oswald Cobblepot. Something about him is off.

I chalk it up to bad writing. Enjoyed the episode.

The villains and the cases of the week are weak.

Every time they show Bruce, it's like they're saying "OMG, Batman's coming one day". It's also crazy how this kid lives in his living room, and doesn't seem to be going to school or anything. Just doing pre-Batman stuff you know.

Gordon remains bland. He & Bruce need to figure out how to have a different conversation. It's only so many times I can here a variation of Gotham being capable of being saved.

Penguin's arc and the mob stuff is what keeps me interested.

That's because Gotham doesn't have any schools.

Seriously, I agree that there's too much Bruce every episode. Make it like one or two scenes an episode and I wouldn't mind so much.

Gotham has been picked up for a full 22 episode order. It was originally going to be only 16 episodes.

I mean if the writing was great this would be great news but when I saw this I was like eh this possibly means more padding.

Also makes me wonder how do they do the filming schedule? I figured the entire season was done by now or almost done. So to add 6 more eps was the finale not filmed and you about to add 6 eps in between? or it hasn't been filmed and you'll just just use 5 eps to build up to it?

I just hope crators/writers listen to some of these complaints and limit the amount of the bad stuff making the show struggle like Bruce.

Don't think there's gonna be any improvements on Gordon if you think he's bland. He's basically the honorable do gooder that will become the commissioner. Most interesting thing about him so far is his bi gf/fiance. What's suppose to be interesting about him is how he will make Gotham less corrupt before Batman shows up. They're not doing a good job at that so far.
