Just watched our dog take his last breath

Sorry for your lost fam, they'll be one day where cancer is defeated

Gonna be a sad day when mine is gone too

Went through this with my last dog, even had a huge thread on NT while he was on his cancer treatment. My advice is, give yourself time to grieve. What helped me get over it was getting another puppy. At first I felt guilty, and like I was trying to replace him, but I fell in love with my new little dude and felt SO much better.

RIP, man.

Been through it many times and it is never easy.

You will though and my suggestion is if you have the proper amount of time, get another one.  It helps!

I remember your thread. Just curious, how quickly did you get your new pup?

Losing a dog is a terrible feeling. Condolences to you and your family.

Earlier today I hit a cat and felt really bad about it. The little bugger ran in front of my vehicle smh. He ran away but don't think he will make it.

Two weeks.

sad to hear about your dog. i had to put my dog down after 14 years, it was really hard, even though i knew the time was coming. definitely one of the worst days of my life.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that OP. My condolences to you & the family.

I don't know what I'd do if my furry baby passes... She really is my furry daughter.

R.I.P.

When i had to put my first dog down I had to leave the room when they gave him the needle. Couldn't bear watching the end. Don't know if it was selfish or not.

RIP to your pup

You gave him a good life and he enjoyed it and appreciated it. Be thankful that you got to experience it.

I had to leave my dog with a friend back home in Alabama because my work hours just weren't conducive with having a pet and I live in an apartment so it wasn't much room for him to play. The person I left him with works from home and has a house /yard so it's a better fit for him at the moment. My mom saw him yesterday and sent some pics and them feels kicked in hardbody. Dogs are just so damn cool and chill. I may have to bring him back here and just make the best of it.

I'm sorry to hear this. I went through the same thing a couple of months ago and I remember all the kind words from NT. Hopefully it helps.
