Allergy Season vol. What pills you popping?

Flonase 24 hour spray

A. Vogel Allergy Relief (Homeopathic Pollinosan)

Get prescribed Prednisone.

Trust me...
an immunosuppressent, thats actually a pretty good idea; but do you feel as you get sick more often because I know the trade off is not being able to fight infections as well?

I use 12 hour Allegra

Fluticasone

NeilMed Nasal rinse when needed

but prednisone is a steriod? how would it help for allergies? i take benadryl at night cause it makes me sleepy or zyrtec during the day....these allergies are the ******* worst!

Prednisone is an immunosuppresent drug. Allergies are due to an improper immune response to allergens. so by suprressing the immune system, it stops the immune system from responding to allergens

I was poppin Claritin D-24 Extra Strength for the past couple of years, but last year I tried to buy it towards the end of allergy season and Walmart looked at me and said "You aren't allowed to buy any more."

I was like "Whaaa? Excuse me?"

Apparently I had been buying too much (even though that would have been my first time that year) so they locked me down through my driver's license information.

Now I'm over here using regular Allegra.. nothing will compare to that Claritin power though.

I been doing the local honey...

Supposedly 1tsp/day over time does the trick.

@Yanky - When is the last time u dusted your place? that might help

+1

First time ever doing it this year.

It's work so far.

Hit up your local farmers market.

To be honest, this past winter I wasn't sick once. I had the occasional sneeze because of the freezing NY winter, but never a point where I had a cold that stayed around for days at at time.

About three Springs ago I got prescribed Prednisone and all I remember was feeling like absolute garbage. Took the pill during dinner and went to bed shortly after, and woke up the next morning feeling as if I never had anything bothering from like the day before. From there, I swore on Pred as my go-to cure to allergies. My doctor doesn't like prescribing it all that much because of its true designed use (because I wouldn't technically say my allergies are severe, but I kinda play them up that way  ). But I insist that it works better than your typical allergy meds, and that is the truth. For me at least. Everyone is different, but I took my Prednisone this morning and hopefully I have a much better nights sleep than I did last night and feel better in the AM.

I have so many different brands and pills of allergy medicine in my medicine cabinet. I just use em' all. Luckily, allergies haven't caught on to me yet,

Used target brand up&up which is the same as Claritin. Only took it for a couple days and my allergies were gone.

Zyrtec :smokin

I've been taking it since i was a kid, its the only thing that works for me.

Came in here to say this..I feel like it kicks in a lot quicker as well, and is MUCH cheaper than Claritin.

Zyrtec EQ , flonase, singulair, and eye drops. Allergies FTL i gotta go to the doctor and get something better for nasal congestion though.
