Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie (Reboot Announced)
watching this twitch stream and re-watching the series has opened my eyes to things that I didn't realize before. lIke now its almost finished with Space. and Andros is a ****** non-existent leader throughout the whole thing. TJ is the defect leader who makes the strategies, stops infighting on the team and leads the rangers in battle and Zhane is the strongest fighter. All Andros does is be jealous regarding Ashley for the first half, then he mopes about his sister for the second half of the show
Also Space is fantastically paced and has some of the best story lines. Darkanda, Ecliptic, Psycho Rangers, Astronema etc

Space was a very good series and wrapped up the whole Angel Grove recruits from Zordon era. Andros was one of the softer red rangers but he brought everything together. The Astro megazord was his ship and he had the code for the delta megazord. He was the first leader who knew more about the situation then the other rangers. I remember the commercial for Zane being in the cryogenic tube like it was yesterday and being so ******* hyped.

Disney then acquired PR in 2001, and while Time force got a great push and good ratings, the show in general started going down hill and Disney stopped caring.they moved it to new zealand and its started looking cheaper and cheaper
Essentially, when you put money and care into power rangers it does well. but thats only really happened in a handful of PR series over the last 24 years

All of that is 101% correct. After Disney got into the mix, the series saw a decline, not necessarily in quality but in content. Show became a tad bit more hokey. Wild Force, Ninja storm and Dino Thunder are the goods though and Forever Red still makes me smile. I always like to point out shadowborg and one of the astralborgs

I never blamed Andros for struggling as a leader because unlike the other rangers, he was used to doing things on his own. Andros did defer to TJ but TJ led most of the space rangers in Turbo with the added disadvantage of having to babysit a punk kid like Justin.

Andros? What show were you guys watching. All that guy did was complain.
I guess I would have to chalk it up to being a kid for myself. But as an adult you see the things you miss when your 8. Andros was literally willing to kill the whole team because he didn't want his megazord to be destroyed and as you said, he literally only mopes and complains the entire season. He never gets an "ah-ha" moment or anything. Things just stop being bad so he stops moping
