The shogun megazord is their original megazord in kakuranger and then they get the ninja Zord. They did it backwards in America for some reason...I'm guessing because of the movie
 
Hope the movie follows the OG power rangers, and the second introduces the green ranger. I am biased as I only watched the OG series, got a little "too" old once the spinoffs started.

I had no idea. Thanks for the info. The Shogun zords seemed stronger than the ninja zords.
 
Do they make any of the helmets for display/collector purposes?

I swear I'd probably have the OG squad (+ green & white) littered throughout my crib on full display.

Stay away from the eBay ones, they're not as accurate and you can get better quality ones from elsewhere. Here's my Green Ranger one.

Thanks. They're actual helmets made of resin, exactly how the real ones from the show are made. They're a lot lighter than the Star Wars helmets I have, not sure if that helps.

This is a nice video I found with a lot of info. I originally had the one on the left but after seeing it, I bought the same helmet on the right.

jaypesoz jaypesoz that dragon ranger/Green Ranger helmet is SICK! I like the OG look and not the one with the silver lining on the bridge of the top. I don't know why they've been designing the green ranger with that crap on his helmet recently.

That Kiba/White is gonna come out insane looking as well!

Thanks, Killa. And yeah, not a fan of that gray stripe they've decided to add on the head. At least they fixed his poor excuse of a shield :lol:

I remember in the opening for the original MMPR they used the green ranger toy on top of the dragonzord :rofl:
 
I don't know about anyone else but I liked the costumes in the first movie. The helmets were off but they looked awesome.


Did anyone else notice the subtle Aussie accents of secondary characters when the show relocated to Australia half way through season 2?

I choose to ignore this. Saban F'd up hard. Everything went to **** after "White Light". The show wasn't even good again until season 3 and it was because of the hype of the movie.

Zeo revived the rangers though :smokin

Season 3 could've been better if Saban used the movie like he did with Turbo. Reference Ivan Ooze and the movie stuff. Don't focus on that Clown ninjor or Rito. Saban wasted an opportunity because I enjoyed Season 3 especially when they used their ninja power to fight tengas.

Ninjor is incredibly dope in kakuranger but he's just silly in MMPR season 3. Lots of inconsistencies they had going in because in kakuranger the falcon Zord didn't belong to any of the rangers and was like a deity that watched over the rangers. When they had to include shogun megazord footage, saban was looking crazy because their isn't a pink ranger in the group so then came the super weird Catherine and Tommy sharing one Zord thing. I guess saban was too deep in Sentai footage not matching up with zyuranger costumes and a Dairanger "leader". Of course then comes...the alien rangers. Saban just straight up showing Kakuranger to kids. Their suits were cooler and everything. They shoulda changed their costumes for the third season to coincide with kakuranger but saban got too greedy with merchandise and not wanting to change anything too soon :smh:
