I got a question for you bros Vol. Manhood + Drivers Liscence

In total, spent about 15 minutes learning how to drive between two sessions with my mother.. Third time I got behind the wheel, I was alone and cruising the streets of NY with my permit.. Been driving since I was 17/18 :pimp: ..Passed the road test in 1 try

My dudes in here acting as if it's some rocket science type of deal, learning to drive is probably simpler than learning to correctly grill some chicken breast

I don't need a license in NYC, therefore I don't have one. I don't like driving anyway. The burden of being responsible for everyone else is too much for me.

I dont blame you.. the public transportation system here in NYC is pretty much on point

I got my license last year. I'm 28. Never had the need for one and no one in my family has a vehicle and/or a license.

It's almost impossible to fail the test for your permit.
Common sense will answer all of the questions you'll need to pass.
Just take a couple practice tests online and you'll see what I mean.

I keep hearing about how easy it is but I feel like with my luck the day I take the test is the day it turns into the SAT'S.

But good looking, I'll try those practice tests.

so this is something that i thought was weird but thats maybe because ive been a driver for over 10 years....anyhow i know of a dude whose 30+ years old and just recently took his road test, dude never leanred how to drive until now, I understand NOT owning a car, thats cool with me, but to me is a little weird to be a grown *** man and not know how to operate a vehicle, im i the only one who feels this way?....i feel as a man you should just know how to do certain things IE drive a car, operate a drill, paint a wall, tip your barber, etc.

whats your thoughts on the subject NT?
Bro ur from NY and your shocked? Its super common. By your logic most of the  men in the world should be ashamed. IF you have no need to learn to drive, why would you?

If you're in a major city, nah you arent less of a man. If the public transportation system is on point and you are good with it, then yeah you dont need to learn how to drive. But if you are 30+ and you depend on other people to drive you around and you live in a suburb setting, then yea you're man card should be revoked. lol

Dude on some insecure stuff. With these comments. Like no joke. How does driving make you more or less of a man? To bush folks you'd be a Jokeif you couldnt  get food for your family. Are you a joke Steezy?

i don't feel they are less of a man at all. If they handle they business and don't annoy they friends for rides I don't care tbh.

Oh *** I thought this dude was banned or something

necessity dictates function...

my grandmother didn't learn to drive til she was 35 and drove til she died last year at 89...

she lived in the city and didn't need to drive until she moved to a more suburban part of Chicago...

Exactly.

I knew a couple dudes in MD that got theirs late (couple early 20, couple late 20s) because they didn't have someone to do the hours with them

Not that big a deal. Definitely didn't think of them as lesser men

Early 20's is late to get a driver's license now? Everybody supposed to jump up and go get theirs at 17?

I'm not judging someone's manhood off of their ability to operate a vehicle.

At the same time, I would find it really weird if I guy say 25+ didn't know how to operate a vehicle at all (unless you lived in NYC or San Fran).

I understand not having a car, but not even knowing how to drive one?

Most men that I know wanted their L's asap. We wanted to be able to drive to chick's houses on our own, go anywhere we please at anytime without having the burden of dealing with public transportation or hitching a ride.

I have seen a handful of super spoiled chicks who literally don't learn to drive until their mid to late 20s, Because they've always had someone (daddy, simp dude, relatives) to give them a ride somewhere (but that's irrelevant to this thread)

20 now.  Got my license a few months ago, still using the MTA. (Till I get a car)

I feel like knowing how to operate a car is important, but it doesn't make you any less of a man if you don't know how.

Fam call me whatever you want, you gettin personal with the insults only makes YOU look like an *** I'm just calling it how it is, I made the thread to pick brains and no one but you is getting caught up in the feels and throwing insults around...so don't tell me to look at myself, use your own advice and take a look at YOURSELF.

So CALM YOURSELF, BRO.

Crying because someone called you a clown + tasting your own nectar is less manly than not knowing how to drive.

You act like all I did was call you a clown. I called you a clown then proceeded to thoroughly explain my position. You're stuck up on somebody's "feels" which like I said is a clear copout. It's like I'm arguing sports and dude says "you're an idiot Kobe is way better than Lebron." Why would I cry "maaaan you're just in your feels. Why you gotta insult me bro?" instead of continuing the discussion? you're fragile dude. And I'm not hard, I'm just a regular guy who knows how guys talk. But either way..............you're judgment of manhood based on driving a car is ridiculously closed minded and irrational.

There are able bodied people in 3 World countries who don't know how to operate a vehicle, but are manlier than OP. Hell, you're considered more of a man if you have a personal driver. Regardless this shouldn't be confined by gender.
