ADIDAS BOOST Thread - PAGE 1 for INFO- *NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING*

Man is only saying, 2 years is enough time to update it. Adidas is a performance company. Not improving or innovating after 2 years is crazy when we get a new DRose model twice a year.

I see nothign wrong with having an actual updated ultra boost 2. Some people don't wanna get stuck with the same model for 5 years. I think the option to buy an updated version is cool because you're moving forward while people can still acquire the older models. OH WAIT, that's how it is for every single running silhouette from every single brand.

People need to remember this is a performance model, it's supposed to be updated.



That being said, i have no problems with current model.

this is 100% where i stand. i never said that adidas needs a new model because the ultra boost wasnt good enough. ive got my own personal qualms with it but ive said more than once that it is a great shoe. i just dont understand jpacs stance on not wanting newer silhouettes in addition to more of the ultraboost. especially if adidas could hit us with something ground breaking again.

hype and hearsay go hand in hand. people are talking about ultra boosts because theyre hyped. im not saying they arent a qulaity product but im willing to bet a large majority of the ultraboost sales come from sneaker minded people. aka enthusiasts and sneaker heads. the vast majority of consumers arent going to spend $180 on running shoes. period. how many people do you actually see in real life wearing ultra boosts outside of people who are clearly sneaker heads/street wear enthusiasts? how many actual regular causal joe schmoes? some of you guys dont realize that nike talk is a bubble. sneaker culture is a bubble. theres a reason why Sketchers is only second to nike in share of the sneaker market. sneakerheads are always going to follow the hype regardless of what model it is or how limited or GR they are.

I wouldn't want "premium" models more so having leather cages or that fabric cage on the Parley X UB collab as standard for UBs.

I could only image an all leather upper/cage UB would cost.

Leave the translucent cage for a lower-tier mesh UB.

for the same exact reason theyre still pushing ultra boosts as they are? it may be a niche market but that market is big/productive enough to buy whats coming out.

everything you say operates under the assumption that a newer model wouldnt do well and that a newer model wouldnt be able to share the spot light. if adidas goal was for the ultraboosts to be just as successful as they currently are whats the issue with setting the same standard for a newer model to be just as successful even if the price point is a little higher. 

i only brought up the market because you brought up them being so popular because of hearsay as if ultra boost were breaking out onto the mainstream market and that popularity is supposed to be justification for not having a newer model. 

YOU turned me saying it would be nice to get an ultra boost successor to me saying "the ultra boosts arent good enough and thats why they need to be redone" which is not what i said. I praised them more than more than once in the past 2 pages. but apparently another successful shoe in the adidas line up would be the death of the ultra boost?

but its whatever man, im done. i sincerely hope that you seek therapy when they do release a new model. i know its going to be hard to cope with.

Just realized that the MC 2.0 did drop with red bottoms, SO SALTY, I imagine it was some sort of France only or europe ....

They actually look much better with the white bottom IMO. The red bottom gives them the appearance of a clown nose in the front of the shoe and takes the focus away from the MC weave.

Are you sure these actually released in France? I saw this picture floating around IG and they looked like fakes. Maybe adidasfr just used the wrong picture... But then again they very well could have gotten a different version.

If anyone made an international order from sportsshoes you can get a refund on the VAT.  Send them an email for 20% back!  They've got the navy 2.0s which come out to about $140 shipped.  Customer service said there's no code for removing VAT and the only way is to request a refund after.

+1 I hope all of you who have purchased off of foreign sites that were charged VAT inadvertently and shouldn't be, are getting refunds.

Well they look either way in my opinion, the red gives a little pop that i like thou

I'm good with Adidas not doing anything drastic with UB's. Perfectly content. Never once thought "I wish Adidas could do this or that to UB's."

Maybe be less squeaky. I can't sneak up on people wearing UB's.

It could be the filter but I initially preferred the infrared outsole but comparing those to the MC in-hand, white outsoles match the overall CW better.

Damn you bought those for 270 shipped? GOAT alerted me when they went up but then I laughed when I saw the price. People have been grabbing pairs for right around retail, and also below retail. You're pretty regular in here surprised you bit on those. Grabbed my 11.5 recently for 210 because I was patient.
