I think the green/white kolors are my favorite CW overall but I'm kinda regretting not rounding out my collection with the grey/oragne, anyone know where those can be found for a reasonable price? Seems like the kolors are still available here and there...

Also, has anyone else noticed that they've started making bootleg grey/orange kolors? I tried to post a link to them (from sneakeradd) but then realized obviously the forum would frown on that...

I have the regular core blacks and the wool core black so I can speak on the differences there. The wool blacks are actually a darker color black than the regs. The regs use a lighter grey color for one of the primeknit threads to give it some texture whereas the wools are more of a solid black color. There really isn't much difference other than that. The wools are definitely "warmer" than the non wools, but seeing as we're approaching colder months that might be ideal depending on where you live. The wools do have a slight fuzziness up close that isn't present on the normal primeknit, but it's only visible up close. You should just keep the greys and buy the blacks too, haha!

Repped, thanks for the comparison info yea I'll be keeping the greys then since it'll be getting much colder where I live soon and I'll cop the blacks at later date when it's on sale. I can't justify paying retail for 2 pairs of UBs unless we're talking about a white one

I actually got scammed by an eBay seller who sent me fake white UBs. The second I opened the box I knew they were fake, the boost material was all stiff, the little "nipples" were missing, the primeknit was super stiff and almost crusty. I almost couldn't get my feet into them they were so stiff. From a distance they look surprisingly decent but up close you can see the cheapness immediately.

Luckily eBay gave me my money back and I sent that little douchebag his garbage kicks back, watched his seller rating drop from 100% to 40% after a bunch of others left reviews saying he scammed them for the same kicks. I was super bummed because by that point, the prices had skyrocketed on eBay and I wasn't about to chance it again. Luckily about a month later they restocked!

No doubt! If you have an adidas store near you, it sounds like they might be getting the black restock next week. In my experience, they'll let you use the 15% off code in store even for products that are excluded from promo online. And if you just keep creating new email addresses, you pretty much have an unlimited supply of 15% off codes.
 
i think its great Adidas is making more cw's. Keep them coming. If they ugly, don't cop.

I don't see them getting stupid like Nike did with something like the Roshe line.

there is a fake grey size 10 up on eBay. Shoes have orange lace tips.
 
Almost everyone in here talks about how they never pay retail for UBs. I really need to do better in finding sales or discount codes because I've paid retail for 2 pairs now lol. Only got lucky on finding Solar Reds for ~$150.

Seems like 2 months ago was the last time where you could get anything you wanted (minus whites) for retail.

Whites were my first and only pair for retail. Paid $210 for Kolors but I'm not sure if thats even retail?

You could have applied 15% coupon to BD white UB link. Maybe call and apply it?

Think you saved like $10 or so right? Idk. But I was never a fan of any shoe having a price hike because of exclusivity or because it's a collaboration.  Unless premium materials are used then I don't think it's fairly justified. But that's business. (I assumed that the Kolors pairs didn't use different materials or have any kind of tech difference than any of the other UBs)

I agree. I didn't like the original price point of the kolors but went ahead with $210 since thats technically $10 over retail for the regular UB's.

But it wasn't worth it.

I loved UB's at $140 ish.

Haha.... Don't feel too bad. They're sneakers if you like them get them (And if you can find them for retail or under all the better) I've paid over retail for some cause i've wanted them so bad.

Regrets..........None. Especially at the rate some of these colorways are drying up.

Sign up for the adidas newsletter, they'll send you a 15% off code. You can do this seemingly unlimited times just using a new email each time. After the 15% off coupon they'll usually send another 20% off coupon a few weeks later. The coupons usually expire after a couple weeks but like I said, you can keep re-upping.

Retail fluctuated wildly on the Kolors. The Y-3/AdidasX site was selling them for $255, a couple other higher end boutique sites were selling them for $285 (the original retail price quoted by all the blogs), I got them from a UK site for around $220 ($236 after shipping). You got a pretty good deal on them, although I'm hoping that the resale price will drop over time because they don't seem as popular as a lot of the other CWs.
