Should I pulled the trigger on a pair of Core Black UB for $135 worn 2x?
apparently you can get them for around $150+tax with coupons, but you'd have to look around. I think FNL and Sport Authority had coupons floating around.

I ordered online and picked up in-store to save on shipping.

word, I looked but none of my local Finishlines had them so I copped online. Love them though, ended up copping the black Energy Reveal for $59.99 on Finishline too. Got them in yesterday, wearing them today.

Boost>

Btw - sIzed down .5 on this pair and they fit better/more snug than my solar red pair.

I want one of those reveals if they drop to like $30 somewhere. LOL. I think it's been said that the toebox is more forgiving in those than the ESM's.

I ended scooping a blue pair in a size 10 from FNL Macy's.

The 10.5 was too loose and part of the reason why I returned my Pegs was it was too big. The 10 felt fine and I have a bit of space with my big toe. I kinda feel my toe at the end but figure it will be alright. I rather have it kinda tight at first than loose, otherwise my achilles feels it. Hopefully it stretches enough where my toe doesnt hurt.

Boost feels amazing btw.

Been saying Macys is worth checking, they got good deals on their leftover Boosts and since it is ran by Finishline you could also use whatever coupon codes you can find online.

This pic was from earlier this week.

So I did a quick 2 mile run on the treadmill.

Shoe felt nice, but DAMN my calves are finished.

Is this cause of the boost? My calves almost never hurt or are sore during/after a run. Hopefully its just cause I need to break them in. Anyone felt similar?

Curious..,anyone ever try resole-ing their running shoes? Absolutely love my Ultras but how easily the sole wears off is quite a disappointment

I've seen some cobblers put rubber sheets on runners (Similar to a Topy on a dress shoe). You need to find a guy with the right adhesive. and it'll obviosuly be a lot different sole than your original

I just took a couple days off and did a 3 mile run yesterday in some nikes I haven't wore in awhile and today my calves hurt. It may just be that you aren't used to the shoe yet/haven't ran in a couple days. Don't think it's the boost though

has anyone's ultra boost midsole gotten super dirty just casually wearing? only reason i hate the boost tech is how easy it is to get dirty and how hard it is to clean...

I was one of the people who got energy boosts on sale, and I've ran in them a few times now, and for the most part, I really enjoy them. My one problem is that the TPU shank plate they used is annoyingly enormous, and completely useless. Seeing how the thing is on the bottom of the boost, and how much boost moves, the thing is next to no good at giving me arch support. Evidently this was rectified in the ultra boost, there the shank is directly below foot. What also angers me about the shank is that it is full length, and gives the toe a strange flared up shape that all boost shoes seem to have. The difference is that this extended shank doesn't allow the shoe bend down to a normal shape when I'm actually wearing them, it feels like I'm wearing elf shoes

, I'd prefer the added flexibility that removing this would bring.

Also, maybe someone knows, what purpose does having a TPU piece on the inside rear of the boost serve? The one that is seen on the EB and UB, and from what I can tell only serves to limit the compression of the boost in this region?

I probably sound like a crazy hater, but other than my issues with the shank, i really like my EBs. The boost is as nice as I excepted, and the upper gives me a nice secure fit, with no heel slippage.

I used handsoap to clean off the red track clay coloring and dirt and it worked perfect, super easy

I'm thinking of copping a pair of Ultra Boost and Pure Boost. I was wondering if they run TTS?

hey everybody. Just joined this thread. Wanted to get Sizing info on the climaheat rocket boost. Does it run small or TTS?

Hate that the UB are excluded from discounts at all places that have coupons right now (Champs, FTL, RRS, etc)

Picked up the Rocket Boost Climaheat at Nordstroms Rack for $60 out the door but having second thoughts of returning them because of the very hot weather here in california. how warm do they get? Should I keep em?
