Me too man the Solar Red and Solar Blue are fire, I hesitated because of what I heard about the 1.0 having problems but when I saw people copping from footlocker for 50 I tried my local store only to find out that there in the middle of moving locations and closed lol I doubt id find the solar red in a 13 anywhere this late in time so I guess its a bit of a buzzkill.

FINALLY received my pure boosts shipped all the way here to singapore. my goodness they are comfortable. 

quick question: is using insoles recommended with these? i'm about to embark on a month long trip to europe which will involve quite a fair bit of walking and i was wondering if having insoles would do me good.

i'm a 10/10.5

I can get into a ten as long as I unloosen the laces before putting them on, only thing was the toes were nearing the brim. the 10.5's fit a lot more comfortably overall and not so snug. I ended going .5 up from my TTS 10. 
 
I'm going to Disney World early next year and I've been told by a few different people now that the pure boosts are the most comfortable walking shoes available right now. I'm trying to find a pair of grey pure boosts in size 12.5. (I hear they didn't make a 13) but cannot find them anywhere (not even on eBay). I checked both Footlockers in town but neither had anything larger than a 10...sigh* Are they really that comfortable?
 
Yes they are. Esp if you can get them on sale. I'd suggest you check any nearby adidas outlets. The one near me (Gilroy) had $10 off instantly plus 30% off.

wait, did the new store open or did you head out to the one near the deli?

anyways did they only have the red pures still or did they stock up on other colors? went there last weekend didn't see much, looked like they were doing floor set the day i went.

nah they haven't moved to the new store yet, but they've began to move everything off the shelves. They've had the same colors for a while now. I personally got the gray pure boosts, and don't think I saw any red ones

they're moving to a bigger store on the innout side.It'll have an updated floor set to more closely match adidas retail store experiences.  hopefully they'll stock up on some goodies for opening day (hoping for the PB2), but they most likely wont though.

The Round Rock Adidas Outlets finally have PureBoosts in the store. They had the Pure Boosts 2.0 in Blue and Black. They also had the Pure Boost 1's in the Solar Red/Infrared colorway 

They also had the ClimaBoost in Grey and Blue

Tried a pair of Pure Boost 2.0's and really disappointed unfortunately. Maybe I'm tainted because I got a pair of Ultra Boost's first. The cut out to the boost feels so weird on the bottom of my feet. Were my pair missing an insole or is this how they typically come?
 
Man I am done running in UBs. They are great and very comfortable but a few weeks in them and the sole is practically destroyed and that is just mostly on the treadmill. I hope the second gen has a more durable sole.

That's a major complaint on Adi's site and solereview.com basically called how quickly the soles wear out unacceptable. Makes me kinda glad they didn't work for me. If I woulda dropped 180 for a running shoe that didn't last more than 100 miles I'd be pissed.
 
Yeah, the shoe has potential but I was disappointed after I read the Sole Review article and finally held the shoe in my hand and could see the construction issues they mentioned.

They definitely need to develop a second generation. Also could use some aesthetic improvements to compete with the Flyknit Racer and Flyknit Air Max.

I broke down and bought a pair for $76. These things are crazy. The feeling is pretty weird at first, but you get used to it. It feels like really thick memory foam on the bottoms of your feet. Some of the youtube vids I've watched say that they don't like the 1.0's because the tongue has no padding and the sharp edges eat into your foot. For those who are hesitant, I would recommend the Pure Boost Q4. They added padding to the heel section and tongue that alleviates this problem. Again, these things are crazy. I've never worn a pair of shoes this comfortable before. If you can pick a pair up cheap, I recommend doing it just to wear around town casually. I can't wait to tool around Disney World for 6 days in these.

I bought them on eBay. I'm assuming by the Q4 name, it was a re-design that they released later in the year. If that was the case, they got it right this time.

Those things went relatively quick compared to the other PureBoosts. I watched them on Eastbay and Adidas. I literally got the last size on Eastbay before they sold out. I was thinking they were going to sit and I could get them on the super cheap ... I was wrong. Not going to whine because I was able to use my military and some gift cards, but I certainly didn't expect them to sell out before they received the discount treatment.
