I need some help from you guys. Is there any shoes you guys recommend for a person who stands and is on his feet the entire work day (hospital setting). I'm asking in the Boost thread because I keep hearing about how comfortable these are, so I was wondering if there's anything better for a person on his feet all the time.

Also wouldn't want a shoe that is overly expensive.

Thanks
Go to the Walking Company store and tell them you work in a hospital. They'll verify that you do and give you 15% off. Look for Ecco shoes. They're all leather (real leather), durable, and breathable w/ ventilation. Particularly look for their biom line shoes.

Avoid boosts or anything that has knit, mesh, cloth, etc.. because once (not "if") fluids, blood, urine, and whatever other disgusting stuff you come across lands on your Adidas... They'll be stained forever. Whereas a pair of eccos, rockports, or clarks get soiled you just wipe it up!

I agree.  Go with Ecco if you have to stand all day (which I used to do and they were perfect).  Mephisto is great, too, but for more $$.  Can find them on sale at Nordstrom.

hopefully the grey pair pops up in other places. i need an 11.5 and Adidas is sold out as well as SNS.

I bought the gray pair cuz I liked it best, white looked nice but would easily look dingy. The fact that it was called the ultra boost ltd made me wonder how limited it really was. My guess is many will regret passing

Yeah im gonna try to swap these out for a half size up. I wore em today and they are super comfy but the top of both of my feet are chaffed like crazy. If the half size up doesnt work I guess these arent for me. Sucks cause I love the comfort.

so is my best luck to wait for the all whie, including white sole on the 6th? and do you guys think it will be a 5am release as well?

As far as we know man, it's pretty much up in the air. We know the all white pair (white bottom) is releasing on the 6th, not really sure when white with black sole is going to be restocked

Limited black UBs are being shown in some websites already and it looks like $255 will be the price for the premium ones, not $300.

Dont know how he looks but the bone on the top of my foot (where the bruise is) is pretty big compared to a normal foot.

Now that I think about it, if it did that to me at my TTS, I dont think .5 up will make a difference, its still gonna chaff a bit.

anyone with a review in terms of actual running?
i've put about 300+ miles, three marathons on my original pair or UB. biggest take aways...they take a longer time than most running shoes to mold to feet/break in, they stretch over time until your break them in fully, the numbs on the bottom wear flat, but i have not worn through the black sole to the boost, overall my favorite running shoes in a long time. i am a forefoot striker, for reference. I use to run Nikes, Asics, Brooks. i did a 1/4 mile test of my last pair in each and I will never go back. they all felt like a brick sole comparatively. let me know if you had a specific question.
