Got an OOS/cancellation email from Wrong Weather on Saturday but got charged yesterday

Got an OOS/cancellation email from Wrong Weather on Saturday but got charged yesterday
Same, how did you pay? I paid with Paypal Instant Transfer and the refund email from Paypal mentioned that there would be a hold on the funds for a few days because I used Instant Transfer. Hopefully that's all it is.

That's how I paid too. The crazy thing is, my bank (PNC) put a hold on my account on Saturday because of the international charge coming from Wrong Weather (based in Portugal) and I didn't get the hold lifted until this morning. Dude. Same thing happened to me. My bank put a block on my card and never even notified me. Went out to eat on Saturday morning with no cash and no extra cards on me and got declined, was mad embarrassing.That's how I paid too. The crazy thing is, my bank (PNC) put a hold on my account on Saturday because of the international charge coming from Wrong Weather (based in Portugal) and I didn't get the hold lifted until this morning. But somehow the charge still went through.
Lesson learned I guess, I won't be dealing with sketchy overseas sites in the future. But good to know I'm not the only one, feel your pain brother.

Also have had the refund on hold. They charged me again this morning, but I also received an email from wrong weather stating that they may be getting more stock and shipping out the pairs.

.You're probably right, but a bank seeing a charge originate from Portugal by the name of from an account that orders from US based sites almost exclusively will probably raise a few red flags. "Wrong Weather" isn't exactly an innocent name
