I dunno, seen a pair of the Volt Ultras pop up before they were announced on eBay

Those may be fakes, but might be an indication on the updated Ultras
 
I'm on the fence with the Ultra 2.0's. Conti rubber soles are a definite plus but not 100% sold on the updated uppers. Blacks are ok other colorways are pretty wack.

The sole does seem to be different, which is why we were wondering if it was a new edition.

My bad, it was on the page before, I thought the pics posted on the last page page was all of it.

I still find it weird that they are just changing the primeknits upper though, seems lazy especially if they are calling it the next gen. A least change the cage's design/materials, that part kind of always bugs me, it needs to be more pliable to mold you the runners foot to provide better lockdown, right now it is stiff and hard that it just hurts my foot more when I tighten it.

The new sole is a good update though, hopefully that doesn't mean higher price though.

Shouldn't mean more $$$ cuz this company makes the same sole on the Los Angeles model and those soles are beasts and retail for $90!!!!

But what if potentially they could've been $80 if Adidas manufactured the sole.

Wouldn't be surprised if the UBs are $180 because of the nubby sole, switching up soles to something more durable with the branding "goodyear" could cost more than the existing shoddy rubber that melts off after a few runs. :lol:

The wools are nice, but IMO the cage should have matched the heel cup.

As is the cage looks off ( no depth) compared to the LTD.

Maybe the stripes and lace holes should have been glossy like the heel cup?
 
what was the differences between the ltd and regular greys again?

Thats awful... I was just before pulling the trigger on the olive ones, but now I am not sure if they are wool or primeknit, dont really like

the wool version when this is whats going to happen with them after some wearing. The burgundys look so nice too but these are wool

as I read on a sneakerpage.

All the Ultras are Primeknit on the uppers. Just some are with wool construction which gives a fluffy look. I got the greys but will be flipping them they are fluffy out the box, imo they will only look worse/more fluffy over time.
 
Waited too long to grab a pair of the core black/met gold ultra boosts. Now I'm regretting it. Anyone have a lead on a pair in size 9.5 for close to/at retail? Is there a way to stock locate a pair? My local Adidas customer service is terrible, so I didn't get much out of them.

Does anybody have any side by side shots or comparisons of Solar reds and oranges? Is the difference enough to warrant getting one if you have the other?

Damn after seeing this picture I went straight to the Running Warehouse website and copped for $153 lol. Not too bad. Might consider cutting the cages on these.

i cant wait to see what Adidas does when they release a cageless version... next year i see myself buying more stripes than checks
