how was it poorly managed? They achieved the objective. SOLD OUT.

I think they managed it brilliantly.

Ye wears the hell out of the whites for months and months, then drop these in mass amounts. People buying 2,3,4 pairs just because.

Another win for a retailer.

announced restock = resellers and bots suit up = people pissed

it would've been brilliant if they actually dropped it in mass amounts. and tweeted the restock like they'd been telling their followers they would for over a week.

That's real. There gonna prolly be another restock anyways. If not. I see cats selling for like 230-250ish on Facebook. Only a few extra bucks ...rather do that then wait on NT all day for a restock

thats what you wanted, but you can't get what you want sometimes.

I think the average consumer just thinks its obvious to just throw mass amounts out there. We're not smarter then them. There's a reason why things are done a certain way and not to the consumers advantage.

Poor in the sense they said a notification would be sent out.
Echoing someone else's sentiments, I too didn't want to sign up for Twitter but I was a good sheep. And the CS reps have their interpretations of another restock timeframe. Their tweets promised there'd be a lot to go around yet 4 per person online while a one person cap at the stores (the early buyers lucked out with buying multiples). I get they are in the business to make money and hype the eff out of these shoes but hours of lost sleep, glued to my phone, being a nagging customer and putting some aspects of my life on hold just rubs me raw... But I guess I'm comparing to Nordstrom and how the handle their business and have their CS down to a science.

I mean, it made sense earlier when they wanted to get the other colorways off the shelves. But now that they're re-doing the sole of the Ultra Boost they might as well just churn these out. Then drop the new model next month and have Kanye wear it, done.

they don't need to rely on hype to push ultra boosts; that's the thing that's ridiculous about the white model - it's the only one that's really hyped. most people buy the other colorways because they acknowledge that the shoe is great and ridiculously comfortable. the only ones that don't sell are neons/solars bc that is soccer mom ****.

whatever, i really just want them to make pure boost with a primeknit upper.
