I've read a couple posts in this thread that there is not much difference between the two

Some people have asked about the traction and that's where I see very little difference.  Both are still slick as hell in the wet.  

Are these all season or max summers? I prefer the DWS extreme contacts myself.

Yeah the continental outsole is significantly more durable than the og outsole.

I have a feeling much of this has to do with the rubber used and more to do with the design. The flat pads with larger surface area are just going to take less stress than the OGs nubs that disappear after 2 wears. At any rate, definitely prefer the continental.

Hey guys, this is my first post so I apologize if this has been discussed recently, but can anyone confirm if the UBs w/ continental rubber wear down significantly slower than regular UBs? I definitely want to get a pair, but I heard some stories of the regular UBs wearing down pretty quickly.

In terms of grip the difference is minimal but conti soles wear down MUCH slower than the og

Thanks for the clarification guys. Now I wish the whites would come with the conti (black sole) rather than old sole.

Non continental soles wear out QUICK. Didn't run with them and they wore out. Conti is much better.

think I read somewhere core blacks still have OG soles?

So i should for them to get conti soles before I cop a pair

Yeah, the normal non-gradient black ones don't have the continental unfortunately.

Yeah core blacks still have OG outsole. Just depends how much you'll wear them.

the physical difference between my WG 12.5s and Cream 13s is imperceptable in terms of length/width

+1 on OG soles sucking. I have only had my WGs for 3 months and those ***** are flat

Champs Culver City said they didn't receive any Creams today. Checked the release locator and they were gone from the list.
