This thread has got the youngest/naive/ignorant sneakerheads. People basing there entire purchases off of hype. (They had no idea what they were purchasing but did so anyways because of the hype). Most who have been following Ultra Boosts knew that it was a revised 2.0 model & that they had a light grey stripe and white outsole. Adidas has not been misleading..and most pics showed the stripe. Which is a very small part of the (overall)shoe. Now people realized that most who wanted cop'd and now want a return.
as someone who has been here since page 4, I agree with this.

I agree too, to an extent. Everyone wants the most hyped shoe. It's not just an UB thing. It's also not just a shoe thing.

Once non-ADC photos surfaced of the 2.0 trip whites, everything changed in this thread.

What I don't understand is if they plan on releasing the 3M triple white which will have hits of grey

why not just release these in a true triple white.

This would include clothing as well. Guess people just want to dress like each other and look the same. To each there own.

Let's bring a photo of those 3M white back and compare. And I agree about the "true" triple white. They obviously changed the thread while "knitting" the upper.

grey stripe or not, 20% off for a pair of UB's? can't complain.

The pictures on sneakernews show a very faint grey stripe. In their words "Ultra Boost arrives in yet another all-white edition with one subtle twist: light grey striping in the toe area of the Primeknit upper. In fact, it’s so subtle that you’ll have to look closely in the pictures here to even notice it."

We'll find out once ppl get them in hand.

These are definitely not what we all bought this morning

Those are samples.

I thought they reversed the pattern to an all white upper with 3M hits rather than an all 3M upper with white hits.

I just didn't understand the grey hit on the shoe and tried to justify in my mind why Adidas would take another L.
