Yes they do. I have unreleased samples and samples sold in eBay before they went mass market had the same model #s

I second that yeah, samples do get SKUs.
But as far as the situation you described, it's a total crapshoot. Rep factories often make colorways that never get officially released, SKU or not.

I'm really happy with my little rotation of UBs. Core blacks, Wool Greys, Creams, and now FINALLY OG whites. I want some MGs next and then 3Ms or whichever I run into first at decent pricing.
