I'm also not really feeling the 3.0 as much as I thought I would. I have yet to cop a 3.0 yet since I haven't liked any cws enough and I don't particularity like the look of the translucent cage, especially 'white' ones. There are only a few future 3.0 cws I am eyeing.

most have looked plain and dull, plus the cottonelle pattern is a bad look to me. The cage is ugly on most too, translucent makes for a bland look on a lot of them

I'm talking about an UB I painted myself. I'm sure sneaker companies techniques are way better than my fabric marker one but even then so the ink did stick through a wash. Regardless, claim was debunked and 2016 finished without the Futurerama gif popping up.

The Naked UBs. Even though a good amount of folks don't like that Teal.

Hopefully they do some crazy stuff, some fresh stuff, some SOMETHING MAN, they really didn't put a lot of work in the 3.0 patternt it looks sloppy , they improved some stuff but it ain't enough!

And for the colored boost on the Naked UB well that could have been amazing i would have copped

3.0s are okay but like I said before, I compare them to an undershirt while the 1.0/2.0 are like high quality Ts.

Naked UB I get the vibe they the female version of the HighSnobs. Any to my recollection, HBs had a gray outsole so there was a couple colored 1.0s (would you count Solebox as well in the 1.0s?). But no doubt there should be more.

HB UB had a white outsole same thing with the J&D Whites. KVA UB and Kolor UB also had colored soles. HighSnob and Solebox are both 1.0 and had colored soles as well
 
Yes yes @jpac1738   and @vinotwofour   you're both right but i'm not talking about the outsoles, I'm talking about the boost itself, I'm seeing that some grey 3.0 CWs have the boost painted grey and the black painted boost as well is strong on the 3.0 that's what I meant that I would have like that with the 1.0 pattern ...

What makes 1.0 or 2.0 better than 3.0 in your opinion?  Construction or quality wise?

ah yes forgot about KVA/Kolor.

Either way, they got potential to be more creative with the CWs/Outsole.

Colored boost, I can kinda do without. the red/orange was a push for me. But the silver, they can keep that.
 
IMO, white boost looks the best. As with any white midsole shoes. But its just that these damn white boost can't be cleaned and probably why some of us want the colored boost

My RC's came out pretty good from their last run HOWEVER if they had the boost painted in either black or grey i think that the damage would have been a lot less ...

The only colored boost I like is black boost. Not a fan of the louder red or orange boost that were used on some of the uncaged models in the past at all.

If they kept making wool 1.0s with continental soles and leather cage (I'm dreaming), that would be a high quality shoe.

1.0 just looked design-wise more aesthetically pleasing and more thought out. 2.0s are nice but it wasn't much of a jump than a horizontal step from the 1.0s.

2.0/3.0s seemed like a downgrade in construction. 3.0 looked like more so as quality downgrade. Could be the translucent cage throwing me off and seeing it as a 'cheaper' plastic when it really isn't.

Completely agree with this and I have to say that the pattern itself of the 3.0 are like super meh, like nothing I just don't see nothing in them when I look at it, they could be your most regular shoe... like a blank space of something that could have been great

In any case, money saved. Just sucks because now I am entering the resale territory on past pairs I've missed on and have already pulled the trigger on some deals.

Can't really be considered team retail anymore.
