pic from my new mavic drone lol. this is just a screenshot from the preview on my phone, didnt download the real pic yet, but looking forward to taking advantage of the camera on this thing.

also...been wearing these since i got them friday night, so a full weekend of wear.

my god are they comfortable.  i mentioned in my last post about sizing that the only reason i would .5 up would be to compensate for the suede stiffness...they loosened up i dont even feel the slightest bit of pressure.
Debating on waiting for the WM EQTs or just pulling the trigger on these...very tough decision only because of what I'm hearing comfort wise.

Those y-3 pure boosts triple black  and adidas wm x adidas nmd r2s though ;__::

Tried all day for the EQT boost but somehow go through on ADC then banned but pending charge with no history of the order.

Was able to order a 9 elsewhere but I'm a 9.5.

Any leads? I'll swap the 9 for a 9.5.
You can have my 9.5 if I don't like the fit.
Does Nordstrom ever get anything decent as far as UB's? I have some gift cards to burn.
They used to. I got several pairs of grey wools from them

Alot of people are getting their pairs of EQT 93/17 in so know alot of this already but I thought I'd contribute with a bit of a review of my own after my first wear.

Fit and Sizing

Please do take what I say now with a grain of salt as I'm wearing fairly thick winter socks. Chances are my opinion may change with more summer friendly socks - it's just ******* cold in Canada right now.

As a lifetime member of the wide-foot brigade, I grappled quite a bit (perhaps moreso than others) with the debate of sizing. Now, I have fairly wide, high volume feet and often find myself muffin topping over the edge of most midsoles unless I size up. I decided to play it safe and go for .5 from my TTS and suffice to say, it JUST barely works.

I get some minor toe bulge and find that the burrito tongue doesn't quite wrap around my foot fully as I'd like for it to. I'd imagine some additional wears might stretch the whole shoe a bit more to my liking. For length, I have about a 1/2 or 1/3 of an inch of space left.

Here's how the 93/17 looks next to an AJ1 in my TTS.

Overall, the upper wraps my foot snugly, especially in the toebox, and is on par with the feel of the standard UB in this respect. The 93/17's materials are bit thicker than the PK of the NMD or UB so I personally wouldn't expect the same amount of "give" in the upper. The suede arch support is very stiff on first wear leading to some discomfort but I reckon this will break-in. Only time will tell.

SIZING RECOMMENDATION

For those with wide feet, I strongly recommend you use your ultraboost sizing (which I assume is .5 up from TTS) as your starting point.

Boost

Now, I know the general consensus for a great many people who have this shoe already is that  93/17 boost > Ultraboost / NMD. After my wear, I'm inclined to say that this might be slightly exaggerated.

This could very well be more of a perception thing for me. When I first tried on a pair of ultraboost, the feeling was quite literally earth shattering to me. I had never felt anything quite so supple and squishy under my feet. Now, with all of the comfort hype floating around, I was expecting a similar reaction, if not greater. After giving the 93/17 a try, colour me slightly disappointed. This isn't to say that the 93/17 isn't comfortable or near the top of the comfort rank - it very much is. I just don't think it's quite usurped Ultraboost like some have been claiming.

I will go ahead an echo the sentiment that these shoes are indeed great for walking and standing. Unlike UBs, I don't get the same deadfoot feeling from the 93/17 when I spend more than 30 minutes standing in one spot. So this is one area that the 93/17 prevails.

Look

The CW is a bit of contentious point for some. Personally, I'm partial to very clean/classic colourways. I was, of course, instantly put off by the striped toe box on the medial side of the shoe. That said, the look of the 93/17 has started to grow on me.

I'm particularly a fan of the fact that, while loud, the striped toebox and turbo red live on the medial side and not obviously visible to the average bystander.

For a silos first CW, I think this release is unique enough for it to be instantly recognizable if it ever does reach "cult classic" status. Ultimately, I'm looking forward to some more subdued/cleaner CWs that takes away some of the less desired design cues like the striped toebox and relies more on the shoe's shape as the primary driver. I think there is potential for this shoe to reach NMD/UB cult status for sure if it did. I'm fully expecting a leather lace cage in the near future...

TL;DR

The shoe is great. Some of the early comfort reviews are a bit exaggerated (IMHO) but the 93/17 is more or less worthy of "most" of its hype and I'm excited to see where it goes as a silo. DEFINITELY go 0.5 size up if you are wide foot.

Word? How soon after you ordered did yours get canceled?

I got my order email and my charge went through

i got it some time overnight while I was asleep right after ordering. They seemed to be on top of their stock, so if you didnt get one already, hopefully you're good.

Are the ones in your picture a half size up? The only thing I'm worried about when mine come in today is that I have slightly skinny ankles, so I don't want to look like I'm swimming in them, but I also like a little bit of room in the toebox so I went a half size up.
