I actually liked them when the first pics surfaced. If I were to get a 3.0 it would be these and the trace cargos but I thought I'd be able to get them on sale later. But the way UB's have been moving, I doubt it

Huh?? Continental soles wear down just as fast as non-continental ones. At least that's how it is in my experience.

It was totally an impulse buy. I was just happy to cook on ADC for once. They are incredibly comfortable, most comfortable pair I have IMO.

Not liking how my Oreo 3.0 fits. Feels like I need to size down from my normal size. Do all 3.0s fit this loose in the front?

I haven't worn any of my continentals outside so I wouldn't know from experience. Thought the whole purpose of the switch to continental was for durability

UBs on sale are hard nowadays unless its a massive gr. Good luck though.

yes. the overall design and knit pattern of the 3.0 is lighter and 'looser.'
The toe box is slightly taller than the 1.0/2.0 which gives the illusion that you need to size down. You can size down .5 but you would risk a lot of toe bulge.
I have tried both and .5sz overall will feel similar to a 2.0 but I have toe bulge.
you can .5sz down then take out insole if you are into that.

I forgot where I read but I believe they were already using continental soles, they just didn't market them until the start of 2.0/cream/3ms.
It would lead me to believe so since they didn't increase any prices doing so.

Gimme Shoes in SF (Hayes Valley) has men's Uncaged multi colored UB. I passed on them after trying sz 12 on. Not enough support like Caged UB and silhouette still doesn't do it for me.
The store is just down the street from Undefeated SF. Very small shop that mainly focuses on formal shoes and leather boots. They have a few Adidas shoes though and said they should get more eventually including other UB.
