The consortium/limited release is all white and has a different tongue tag and material around the ankle and costs more and is coming out later.

If any retailer tells you the pair they are releasing is $180, then there is a 99% chance it's the black sole and not the consortium cause footlocker doesn't carry Adidas consortium releases.

It really isn't as overwhelming as some of you are making it out to be. Getting yourselves worked up over nothing.

THIS. Repped. This should be stickied at the top of every page to be honest. Every time someone comes in and questions which one is releasing, it just makes things more confusing. 

None of these stores are going to send you the Collective version for $180. If you actually think they are, you're only fooling yourselves.

So I posted review/unboxing of the shoe the other day. I just got a comment from someone asking me why they didn't have gold laces/tips.. Am I missing something or were they possibly thinking of the collective pack?

Either way.. ehh

Can you link us to said review? 

Maybe they meant the yellow lace tips on the black/purple OG pair.
 
I went to footlocker before the opened today in a Mall, guy had no clue what I was talking about. Told me to come back midday to see if they come in. 

I came back 3 hours later, they said they weren't getting them.

The closest store to me in the FL launch locator didn't even get them in today and they have no clue when they're supposed to get them.
 
My brother checked the foot lockers that we're getting them in San Diego. They didn't know when they were getting them either. They said later today or tomorrow.

Yeah it's strange that some people already have the Collective pair in hand yet none of the photos are able to translate what's so special about them.

You'd think someone would take a good pic that shows of all the special features...
