ADIDAS BOOST Thread - PAGE 1 for INFO- *NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING*

i think even though adidas said preorder these will ship out sooner.  i tried to cancel an order because i forgot the ebates and i got a reply saying its not possible because the order is already being fulfilled by the shipping department.  so for now i have two orders coming, no biggie since they have free returns.

but i too bought without paying attention to the sole.  i prefer the white sole myself and dont get how eastbay had them.  unless that was an error on their end.  if so they might have a lot of pissed off folks.  where are folks getting adidas info other than here?

Can't believe Adidas is switching these images up on us. Even the pic in my confirmation email has been updated with the black sole...

Anyone have a screen capture of their email with the white sole?

My confirmation email has a white bottom on it tho. Either way, the white upper makes it the cleanest ultra boost to come out so far. I would be happier if they came with the white bottom.

Either the Adidas product pic is wrong or the FTL/EB pic is wrong. The FTL/EB are actual pics of the shoes. the adidas is the standard product pic which they swapped up for some reason since yesterday.

There are two versions of the whites... you'll notice it in the materials. The pre-order color is the one with the standard prime knit texture. The special one has a different look to. Just notice the standard ultra boost tongue tag logo. The standard one has a reflective square/rectangle logo and the newer one has the adidas triangle.

Still it's kinda confusing to release two shoes so close in days and to each other in colors...lol.

I don't think people knew that there were two different whites. Just assumed the ESM Boost was the other one. Besides the pre-orders were had for less then retail by most that ordered.

So from doing some research and Instagram browsing, it SEEMS adidas decided to change the outsole on the preorder "GR" pair from white to black at the last minute. This is allegedly to keep it aesthetically in line with the white ESMs. adidas did update their website to reflect this change after the preorder launched. Kind of a bait and switch on their part.

The OTHER "white" UB is part of that collective. The collective pair comes out June 6 and has higher quality materials and a white outsole. It also doesn't seem to be pure white to me, looks more like a tonal grey, but maybe it's just the pics. I'm more drawn to the collective pair, but I have a feeling they'll be more limited and probably in the $220-240 range.

I preordered the "GR" pair on adidas yesterday. Would have preferred the white outsole, but we'll see how they look in person.

as long as the the GR white UB is the same shade of white as the ESM energy boost i can live with the white sole.  i have two on order, meant to cancel 1 cause i didnt apply ebates to it.  i dont mind keeping two though.

so folks already received ebates on these preorders? maybe i need to put a ticket in

theres a difference in the all white ultra boosts coming out...

according to adidas tweets the pre-order for june 1st has a black sole and standard knitting at the top

then for june 6th they have a all white sole and have a higher quality materials around the ankle

This is crazy. Can't believe they would change the colors after preorders are completely sold out. Real poor job of communicating this one by Adidas. I got the press release about the Collectives literally the same moment the GR preorders went up on the site. It was only reasonable to think it was the same shoe.
