my silver ultra boosts came with cardboard inserts and no tissue paper.
I believe that is the authentic inserts that come with the shoe. Thanks for verifying!

Does anyone know if a brand new shoe that was bough from a physical store had different inserts between the left and right shoe? Like the left shoe has the cardboard inserts and the right shoe just have a paper insert? Does this actually happen or is the seller just trying to fool me into buying a used shoe and misleading me to believe that it is brand new?

It's definitely not unheard of. Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me personally.

Need some advice guys, I'm about to purchase a pair of Ultra Boost on ebay. The seller tells me that the shoes are brand new and was bought from a store. But he also tells me that the insert (stuffing) inside the left and right shoe are different. He tells me that the left shoe has the hard plastic one from footlocker and the right shoe just has the paper inside. Is this really possible? Or are the shoes probably used and that's why the stuffing inside the shoes are different because the original stuffing got lost.

What colorway is it? I believe it. I know I bought a pair of shoes from Footlocker and it still had the hard plastic because it was on display. They didn't take it out, they probably have a ton so they didn't care about it.

The new mesh pure boost is nice but I'll wait until they're half off lol. Doubt it'll happen with these though.

New to this thread hopefully I can contribute to you guys in the future! First I bought the pure boost but I ran in them for about 5 miles and just seemed to soft then I bought the ultra boost ( pic above) and will give it a shot at running tommorow evening! Either way I'll keep the ultra rather than the pure just for the fact it looks better and seems to be more supportive than the pure!

Pure Boosts are more casual/lifestyle shoes and the Ultra Boost are for running in. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try and run with Pure Boost. At least not for long runs or marathons. Maybe light jogging but definitely not running.

Heard the squishy sound from the UB walking into Target. Man it's annoying, gonna have to walk on my heels to avoid it :rolleyes

It's the GR all white colorway (black sole). Thanks for the info, appreciate it! I was just worried I'll still pay over retail for a pair of used shoes.

Anyways, looks like I was too late and someone already bought the shoes

If ever anyone knows someone or somewhere who sells the all white black sole UB size 7.5 Mens, please send me a PM. Thanks!

Yeah after some miles I wasn't liking it!

I've ran in Pure Boosts, not marathon running or anything but like running for a bus or train kind of running. Not the best for running honestly. I've ran for the same reasons with my Ultra Boost on and I felt way better running in them than I did in Pure Boost. Like I said PB is strictly a casual/lifestyle shoe while the UB is for running. I love walking in my Pure Boost or rocking them to work because of the comfort.

so ultra boost > pure boost for running. Seems to be the consensus

but who wins for casual? Or just a preference?

I still think the Ultra Boost is a real casual shoe and I prefer it over the Pure Boost as a casual shoe as well as for running. But the Pure Boost is really comfy for casual wear too. But for casual wear it's really just preference honestly.

I don;t know what the retail is for ltd edition pairs like the J&D in the US, but in the UK, that's what we have to pay

The squeaking is actually the rubber nubs. Once those wear down a bit the squeaking will be gone.
