Fair enough. But i don't think the custom Ultras that have had the cages removed is necessarily the owners shunning the brand or the 'three stripes life' I personally don't like the look of them without the cage but still recognize them as Adidas regardless.
 
Nothing looks like the UB with the cage cut. LOL'd at prestos/sock darts. Plus neither one of those are in the same league as comfort.

I'm for sure copping a core black pair and dying the sole and cutting the cage. I like my whites and my original black/purple with the cage, but no cage is undeniably a good look. 
 
White Yeezys in october apparently.
If the white ultras dont drop then, ill get the yeezys.

I'm not a fan of the cut cage, but this one looks pretty nice. Still, having those laces in is solely for aesthetic purpose because there is no way you can safely tighten that without eventually ripping the primeknit, soldered or not.

In any case, a triple black UB is where it's at. I'll wait it out for a while to see if Adidas will figure it out, if not, I'll just eventually paint my OG's midsole black.
 
FYI - For those still on the hunt for the whites. I just spoke to the manager at the Adidas store in Cerritos and he said they received word they are going to be receiving the whites in the next few weeks. Take it for what it's worth.

Hey All, 

Found these surfing through my Instagram today. They are calling these 'Customs' which I guess they are but the Ultra Boost part is definitely a Rep, based on the insole. 

What are y'alls thoughts? Definitley takes away from the Ultra Boost since they are more comfortable than the Yeezy's but anyway.... they def have a lot more pics on their site. 

Looks like they do a lot of customizing and meshing 2 shoes together.

I said I heard they were dropping late fall and he said "corporate just let us know they will be dropping in a few weeks." I tried getting a solid date but no luck. Sorry fellas.

Will be doing this pretty soon. Just got figure out where to get the paint/dye to murder them out.
 
Anybody knows where I can find the greys online in sz 10.5? Adidas.com just sold out. Rrs is on backorder till oct 4. I need it asap. Thanks fellas.

i was also told they would restock %100 during fall. No exact date but he said is was confirmed
 
Spoke to a rep the other day. He said they would restock online on Nov 8. I don't believe reps all that much so don't count on that date, but I do believe they will be back at some point before the year is over.
 
Are the Pure Boosts wider than the Ultra Boosts?

I have the UB's but they are a tad narrow after sizing up.
