^^^thanks, Casper

I'm assuming you go TTS on your Racers..?

I actually go .5 up on racers. Foot is slightly wide. I prefer both racers and UB to be an 11, but i don't mind a 10.5 in UB's. They stretch out after a few wears. I just can't think about doing a 10.5 in racers.

See my size chart in sig

Finally got around to cutting the cage.

I am happy how they turned out!

I ordered some new laces from Amazon.

Looks like the heat has transferred burn staining/marks to the surrounding area around the holes you've made?

Yea there are some residue marks.

I am going to scrub them out when I get the new laces in the mail. I was just feeling too lazy to do it now.

I like how plain they look without the cage. I am only wearing the grey and blue casually anyway, so the plainer the better for me.

I like the cage when I am going for the more athletic look, which is why I am going to leave it on the solar yellow pair I have.

To each his own I guess.

There is a seller on Ebay out of NY that is selling the Green and Maroon UB for $250obo so I am assuming they should be hitting stores soon.

So, many people ask if the men's n women's are the same fit. Width particularly. I see most people usually say that width is identical. What I find interesting is that foot locker shows the men's pairs to be width D, but women's pairs to be width B. See below.

I bought both the men and women pair when the OG black/purple color way came out. Lengthwise they were fine but I returned the women's pair cuz it was a bit tighter and it just didn't feel right for me when I wore them.

Seeing as there are repeated sizing questions, a survey at the top should be useful. The flyknit racer thread has one. Ppl can vote if they need to go .5 up, TTS, etc. That would help a lot of new dudes with sizing questions.

I'm not sure a survey would help. Its either TTS for a snug fit or .5 up for alittle more room, But as this is determined by foot size/width and personal preference the only real way to be sure is to try both on and see which is preferred.

These are definitely TTS for me.

They might be "snug" on the first wear, but after a very small break in period they fit perfectly.

I have 2 10.5 in men's and 1 pair in a 11 in womens( just cause it was the biggest I could get) and length wise to me they fit the same. When it comes to width they are noticeably more narrow. I had to use shoe trees to stretch them out some. All around fit I would say they are a lot more snug with socks. Not to bad without though. I was curious to see if I went a Sz and a half up if it would be the same as far as the snug feeling

Definitely snug at TTS. I usually buy 0.5 up to allow for foot swelling when running long distances. But with the UB I was sliding forward too much. The primeknit stretches better than Flyknit IMO, allowing the toes to splay freely without losing support. I'm a wide-footer at that. TTS should be fine for walking/casual use IMO.

anyone looking for an 8 or 8.5 in the go black/purple? RRS has them for $161 with VIP and CK15Z88E promo code that ends today

Boosts in-hand.. just got delivered to work

First impressions - very nice shoe with a great build quality and unmatched comfort (i think we can all agree on this)

I compared the liners to my FK trainer liner and their are some slight differences..not much tho

Both liners were taken from a size 11 shoe. I ll update this post later tonight when I get home to contrast with Size 11 Racers if anyone wants -

Some notable comments - the sock-like liner can be a snug fit  that and the forefoot area, top of the area where the ball of your foot is ( see the red arrows)

As someone posted their bare-foot earlier this matches up with where they had markings... These shoes are MAD comfortable and I suspect those with 'fatter" feet, like myself you should size yourself accordingly..

I'll update this post as I get home with more info and try to provide as much useful info as possible

edit - heres how the UB liner compares to the FK Racer liner

the UB liner is marginally longer than the FK racer liner ..makes sense cause the FK racer has a  longer, leaner silhouette than the FK trainer due to the lack of materials/support materials ..
FWIW re: all teh sizing and fit questions... hope this helps

Might be of interest.

Source unfortunately in German:

Around 9:05:

- Hikmet (Solebox): "When will we be able to customize this? (Ultra Boost)"

- Till Jagla (Adidas Category Director Customization): ... Smiling ... "When? ... Probably next year"

that would be awesome! i just told my wife last night i hope they make them available on MiAdidas. if i could get enough boosts for heavy rotation and color variations, i could sell off some nikes and stop buying them! will always be into my foams, but would love to eliminate most of the others

So far only one person claimed that they are the same width and fit. Need some more ppl with both womens and mens pairs to confirm.

I ordered a womens 11.5..I figured I'd go true to size on my 1st pair of ÜB. I didn't know they fit similar to Hurraches which I take a 10.5. I would have needed a 12, I returned them & bought a men's 10.5 off ADC on the restock. I would say the women's and men's fit same as long as you do conversation correct to your size
