looks good without the cage but in my opinion I'd go with straight black laces. Current laces get lost in the knit.
Nice job tho. I'm considering coping and doing the same.

Not to my knowledge. I wouldn't even know which was wool. Both feel exactly the same to me honestly.
Haven't really had much time in them either so I guess I might find done difference later. Wearing one of them tomorrow to work.
