ADIDAS BOOST Thread - PAGE 1 for INFO- *NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING*

It looks authentic, the plastic outline on the isn't shiny but I can't tell with just three pics. I got a fake in the mail and seller said it was authentic but now I am filing with eBay. Watch this:

I'm still trying to learn how to really spot fakes. what are the clear signs if there are any. 

Only thing I can really see at a first look is the boost pattern always seems off and the discoloration in the shoe.

If you don't mind me asking - what exactly did you ask? And what was the seller's response?

I'm not questioning your integrity by any means, I'm just surprised they would just straight up admit to them being fakes is all!

Picked up a pair of the Wool Grey Ultra Boost last week from the Adidas store, and it's so damn comfortable, I LOVE THEM. I put them on immediately

They look on point .

I think the insoles and the insole part of the boost is the safest spot to check for fakes.

Just got the core blacks for 20 percent off on Sports Authority. Total came to 144. 

I now have the non ltd grey, solar yellows, navy's, and blacks. 

I am passing on the burgundy and olive. 

I think I am done for now.

For the core white/black outsole, there should be off-white woven in with the white primeknit and the cage should be a little off-white as well. The Chinese fakes have matching shades of white, easy to spot in good lighting. It's hard to tell in the lc pics, need better lighting.

Yes, I agree. And the 'U' is hard to replicate on the fakes, 'Ultra boost' has poor quality paint job and under the insole there should be a lattice liner that positions the insoles properly which fakes don't have.

You posted the 1000th pic, congrats. Do the women's feel noticeably narrower?

Because of the lighting and flash use.

Best ways to LC  in my  opinion  are:

- to ask for actual pictures of the insole/below insole boost part

- ask for the receipt and story backround of where his supplies /purchase came from 

-if its on the  bay i check recent feedback (seller LC)

also usually i dont buy if the pictures are nott his and he has" borrowed "from NT or Someone else .

and usually  if it is too good to be true , its almost always fake.

Like the 100$  UB Whites from Russian Seller few pages back

My DS pair of Grey Wools have a VERY SLIGHT hint of yellowing on the boost. It seems the "clear coating" is whats causing it to yellow.

It's all good though. Once the midsole gets nasty, I'll hit the Grey soles with charcoal paint and the Core Blacks with black paint.

Pretty sure China has not mastered the Boost Material, get a close up of the boost before anything and you will know.

Thanks! And no, they do not feel any different at all to me. Wear a 10 in Men's and went with a 11.5 in the Women's. Just like the men's, they feel exactly the same; the most comfortable shoe in the world!

With how good fakes are now compared to when I was first getting back into the game in the early 2000's, that is the best advice I can give/take. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.
