How's the quality of these and the Rocket Boost? I've read reviews that after a few months of casual wear, that they have holes already. 

$60 Rocket Boost are tempting on adidas.com

 holes? I understand if the upper gets snagged on something and it gets a hole with heavy heavy wear but if they said that about the boost sole they're wrong

I've put so much wear into a black/white pair of pure boosts that I bought soon after they were released and they're holding up so well its one of the (if not the) best shoes I've bought. One week after wearing a fresh pair I was moving furniture (a dresser) and like an idiot I wore my pure boosts while carrying it, I accidentally scraped the pure boost stretchy fabric with the leg of the dresser and I thought ****, there must be a hole or a cut. The scrape left a white skid mark of dust but I put a damp towel on the fabric material and cleaned that off... nothing happened, no hole, no cut in the fabric, looked like it was new.
 
My wife got a adi gift card for free at a work event and she gave to me so I just scooped those green camos.   Heard good things about boost so I'm looking forward to trying them.  
 
The look exactly like the mid top pure boosts in the adidas store

I think its time for adidas to show that boost doesn't need to look like this every single time to be implemented as a sole, they did crazy lights and d rose 5's without sacrificing the aesthetic too much
 
Well the line hasn't even been out a year yet, not even 6 months and a second gen isn't even out or leaked yet.

Those lifestyles are pretty much like making a hi-top version of regular boosts with some aesthetics from the DRose 5.


At the end of the day though, this style and silhouette has become somewhat of a niche (is that the right word to use?) so I don't imagine them going too far away from it. They already got other style with boosts (energy boosts & glide boosts) and non-boosts (ZX FLux).

Just got to wait with what Adidas comes up with.

Give it some time. Let's not forget how air max 360 looked when it first came out.

Camo pure boost didn't look as good to me in person. Will need that navy pair.
 
Just copped the OG black on Eastbay. They're now marked down to $99 plus the extra 20% off and free ship.

also

pure boost vs boost 2 they both have big midsole, and primeknit boos that retails for  $200 has small "boost" foam section.

cause i wish they made more pure boost with primeknit, i really dont wana run in them lol, but i may settle with pure boost or boost 2, since i normally run in lunarglides 1 and 2's

has anybody ran in both? what do you prefeR?

Those are totally different though. Not the same full length Boost as the PB. Still comfortable as hell, but there's a noticeable difference.

I just got these in today. In case anyone is wondering, the upper is made from that spandex fleece material on the women's heather greys (similar to Nike's tech fleece). The collar and tongue has a padded cotton/fleece lining. I don't have a pair of climaheat rocketboosts to compare, but I think the collar linings are different despite these being in the Winter/Q4 lineup.
 
Did these sell out like crazy in stores all of a sudden?Was there a huge discount on them? Or were they recalled or something?


A month ago, these shoes weren't moving at all and then all of a sudden, non of the first released solid colored are available in all the stores I've visited (a handful of Footlockers, Finishlines, Champs, etc....).

Sales have been increasing for a while now...not surprised to see them almost all sold out...
 
Just surprised it actually sold out and I haven't even seen any big discount reported on it.
