What's everyone's opinions on the neon/volts? Feel like you can get your size anywhere with those. Guess you can't dress them up as well as the grey white and blacks?

A lot of people in this thread like them but nobody wants to pay retail or anything close to retail. I'm in at about $120.

Whoever it was a while back that recommended Neopaque paint to paint the boost sole, I couldn't rep you enough. This is the result of about $10 worth of supplies and about 30 minutes of work. I left the support in the back silver to contrast with the lace tips.

Also, I finally found a OG colorway on discount. If any of you big footers are still looking for this colorway, Holabird Sports has a size 13 and a size 14 available for $153 shipped, and ebates is doing 2.5% cashback on top of that, bringing the total to $149.50.
Also is that just neopaque black? Or is it a charcoal color or something

Seen on Facebook (not my pic). Before/after washing machine with bleach. Even cleaned the boost!
If true, looks good, but covering boost in any sort of chemicals, like bleach or alcohol like I've heard other people suggest sounds risky.

. for now washing machine + trader joe's laundry detergent have done a decent job on my whites, didn't get rid of the deeper stains tho.

I'm also not a fan of the next gen UB colorways, except for the Continental sole, hope they release plain colors too, these gradients don't do it for me.

I feel like they came close on that white/cream/grey one but missed the mark - the CW isn't even enough throughout the shoe. Now it just looks like a piss stain on the toe box.

have you walked around in them yet?  i've done the same with angelus paints and after a few wears, the paint starts to crack.  i put more of a matte black finish than a glossy one (could be just the picture).  kinda annoying to repaint them but i do love the all black look.  way better than with the typical white mid sole.

I would hardly call the update a "massive fail." Better traction and more variation in color. You've had the better part of a year to buy solid colors...

Kanye and reality TV shows...
