I'm on the hunt for those royal blue joints as well...I slept on them. I was waiting for them to dip below retail many months ago and now I can't find them anywhere at all. Very underrated and underappreciated CW imo

Totally agree now I'm ready to purchase them at full price, but can't find them anywhere.
I have info on the Royal Blues in a size 9.5 for $130.
I wish it was a 10.

Anyone have comparison pics of the UBs and Flyknits (any)? I'm more concerned about length than width, as my feet have a narrow to normal width...

Both sz 8.5

I know that the Racers have minimal construction and material, but WOW(!) that's a SIGNIFICANT difference in length considering they're the same size. I think this pic confirms the sizing for me. Thanks! Repped!

You're definitely TTS Ray.

Looks like it! haha

to the guy who asked about how these run compared to FK racers...

Thanks!

Seems like most of the posters here are casual wearers... Has anyone actually run in these? For being marketed as the "GREATEST RUNNING SHOE EVER", I don't see that many posts about performance, which really makes me think that their pitch is farfetched... :nerd:

There have been some people that wrote about the performance. In a nutshell what I've gathered is that they feel great but the outsole wears very easily after a few runs, thus losing traction. Even after a few casual wears I could tell the outsole being worn down a bit.

YIKES. :smh:

Sole Review confirms it too... NO BEUNO.

After just thirty miles, most will see the pointy bits completely wear down to their base around the footstrike area, which in our case happened to be the rearfoot. And if you’re forefoot striking, expect accelerated wear in the front. Even if you’re just using the forefoot as a transition area before toeing off, rapid wear still happens, as pictured above.

Based on our experience with many shoes, the rate of wear should subside once the nubs are fairly worn off and the outsole flattens out. But this rate of inital wear is completely unacceptable; why not make the outsole flat to begin with, then? While on topic, the Sprintweb outsole is no match for Continental or Adiwear rubber’s durability, and shoes like the Energy or Glide Boost will last much, much longer.

TF?! :rolleyes :smh: :x

I ran in the Ultra Boosts a few times comfort is very good and responsive. They are my go to for running now , but the sole does wear faster than other shoes. I used to run in Flyknit Lunars before.

the royal blues is a classic case of some people wanting to wait for a pair to go on discount, but it ends up completely disappeared on the shelves. Now some of you guys will probably have to pay retail (anyway) or over retail just to get your size.

the OG black/purple from DSG was too good to pass up. Even tho it was women's, they still had my size after conversion. I still wear the men's version, but i definitely need a backup pair.

No wonder there aren't that many performance posts here... I think I'll keep the UBs as a casual wear shoe and try out the Energy Boost 2s for actual running instead.

Might be late on this but pretty sure Kanye wore the core black Ultra Boosts yesterday, so keep that in mind as resellers are likely on the lookout lol

Might be late about this but pretty sure Kanye wore the core black Ultra Boosts yesterday. Go to TeamKanyeDaily on Instagram, it won't let me post the link cuz I'm new. But just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case resellers/people start going crazy about them etc.

for the way you run Ray I would stay away from these..they will never outlast your racers with ~400 miles on them

Me personally feel like they are too squishy to run in

Just wondering did the white UB's release ONLY on adidas store and adidas online? Did they ever release at FTL, FNL etc? Might go to my local major shoe retailer to see if I find a pair of White UB's if they ever released there.
