Picked up a 7.5 on the white UB at the Adidas Store in Cerritos Mall today. I know they had an 8 as well when I left around 7pm. Didn't ask about larger sizes but dude I talked to said they just restocked yesterday so if you're still looking in the SoCal area just a heads up.

Need a sz. 11, so I'll give them a call tomorrow. Thanks for the head up!

Just a mini review. Cage on the 2016 is leather. Must be the limited edition. The Continental outsole makes the shoe a little stiffer. Pushing the shoe up from the toe there's a noticeable resistance on the 2016 which may compromise the comfort everyone loves. I like the squishy feel of the the white and silver ltd. I suggest stocking up while you still can.

I've always wondered, what has putting them in a pillow case do?
I think it just provides a buffer between the shoes and the agitator (at least that's my guess). I washed a pair of Nike Frees awhile back and didn't use a pillowcase. After they finished I noticed that there were a few spots on the outsole where the rubber was ripped. I'd upload a pic, but I'm at work. I've washed numerous pairs of Racers via the pillowcase method and never encountered this problem again.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've always thought of it as protection from the banging around that happens in a wash cycle. protects your laces if you want them washed as well.
Seems about right.

the white UBs should be called "cocaines" , white is too mainstream
keep that flyknit talk outta here!

I know Jon Wexler made it known he used a pillow case to wash his shoes in but do you lose NT cred for using a very fine meshed laundry bag instead? Or, should that just be left for women to use in cleaning their dainty bras and panties?

thats what i plan on using.. the zipper woudl keep the shoes from coming out of the pillowcase

question... do you wash just the shoes or do you toss them in with other clothes/towels / items ?

Don't think it matters.

You could just tie the end of the pillowcase, sir. I've never had it come open. I wash the shoes separately from other clothes. I would be afraid of the other clothes/towels bleeding even if they've been washed a bunch. Ohhh and I'd make sure to use a white pillowcase for that same reason.....especially if you're washing your white UBs

just tie the pillow case, I've never had an issue of them coming out

I wash them alone personally because I don't want the clothes to soak up all the soap haha, I want a deep clean

Would've thought everybody knew about the washing machine method by now. We were discussing this in threads in the early 2000's.

Any word on US Olives or Burgundys yet?
