Older colors sat, but thirst went up when it was slowly disappearing.

Maybe 2 months later, people will start trying to find the gradients lol.

Yup, I'm sure that's their plan.

No doubt it's a good job for fueling the hype, but it's not going to work well in the long run. Just like white UBs are starting to sit, but at least they managed to squeeze out the craze by releasing slowly and slowly.

since they are releasing the shoes in small quantities, I don't think they are aiming for the money from selling shoes; they are aiming to build up their brand image. IMO the Boosts has already surpassed Flyknit in terms of hype, which in turn helps to sell other Adidas products.

Yeah they are using it to bring their hype up in order for people to talk about the brand and especially with social media now being such a powerful tool.

But they have to thread the balance carefully as there's only such much of a frustration people will take before it just back-fires. Lots of bad experiences from other people for most of their drops so far.

Though the fact that some colorways is hard to get is good, because those that failed to get it might just settle for the same design in another color, or just purchase an alternative model instead.

I like the fact that Racers are much easily available now though, it should have been this way.

I think in time to come, Ultra Boosts will also be easily available like that, in order to maximise the sales.

nah i was told by a CS employee that this shoe will not release through adidas and was sent to shops only in very limited quantities. 1-2 fsr, again from a cs employee take it wth a grain of salt

For sure, BY FAR the best boost release ever. You should've included the box too. Even the box looked better and more presentable than the "Lakers" box they usually come in.

I should've bought the white for resell, people are paying around 700-900 nowadays. Keeping my blacks on ice for a bit, there hasn't been anything better.
