ive been wanting a black and white simple runner just for casual wear. I like the pure boosts and element refine...anybody got both and care to comment on which is preferred
 
Upsetting that I cant get size 13 in these. I really wanted the black and infrared colors but cant even find them in 12.5. So I settled for the black reveal joints. Dont like them as much as the original ones but they cool. Any word on Adidas restocking on these any time soon?

I have the Black Reveals (wanted the original black though) and also have the Grey.  I can notice a difference in both comfort and construction.  What bothers me most about the Reveals is the very visible white stitching where the rubber is glued at the top.  It ruins the clean look and I can imagine it getting worse through wear. 

It also seems like they wanted to address the tongue issue and have shortened it, but its also a lot stiffer and would actually cause more damaged without socks.  Overall I'd say the first strings have a much softer upper all round but may not last as long as the Reveals.
 
I got myself a pair of the Black Reveals,  these shoes are so damn comfortable.

Besides the Roshe,  which I just don't feel.  The latest Nike Free Runs have been too busy.  These Adidas are simple and clean.

Turns out that I had a faulty pair of the Reveals, my apologies.  The tongue was wrongly short and very sharp and the logo had also been damaged which I did  not notice. 

The rubber parts on the upper are still not as soft as OG though and that may have something to do with the coarser tech material compared with the smooth.

Just picked those up the other day.  Most comfy kicks I've ever owned.  Anyone with both OGs and Reveals know which is more comfortable?  Heard OGs are lighter.

You want Pure Boosts man, trust me. As an adidas rep, I own both, love the look of the Elements...but the comfort is night and day. Pure Boosts by a mile.

I'm interested as well, not even sure what the difference between the two are. I love my Pure Boosts but thinking about scooping a second or maybe the Reveals
 
There is a difference in comfort imo with the OG being superior.  I have a flat arched wide foot and there is significantly more room in the toe and bridge area.  The upper is just so much nicer than the roughness of the Reveals.
 
Hey fellas, longtime adidas supporter but boost newb. For my first pair of pure boost, do you recommend the OGs or the reveals? Thanks!

:lol: we still on this? I honestly feel sorry for you if you haven't tried the Pure Boosts. And if you have, you wouldn't be saying that.

It's cool I know how a forum works.  Newb gets ignored :D

Worth noting also that the rubber parts are significantly softer and flimsier on the OG's.  This could be an advantage or disadvantage..
